If you follow me on Twitter, you may know that I was on a hunt for a grass scented beauty product, I was actually thinking about a perfume.
You see, freshly cut grass = smells divine, I am an addict, and whenever I can smell freshly cut grass, I am very happy.
This is why I just had to purchase Lush’s Grass shower gel. In fact, I am a big fan of their shower gels, and I currently have four in my shower, so that says a lot.
So what about this one?
It is actually a shower and shampoo two-in-one, but I never use such products in my hair, with Philip B being an exception. So I can’t really comment on how it works, as one.
But, as a shower gel, it is lovely. It leathers up nicely and leaves my skin fresh and clean. As for the scent – it is also nice. I like it, and it does make me think of the mown lawns, but it is definitely not exactly like that scent.
I think I will get more use out of it in the end of winter/beginning of Spring, when I will miss the fresh grass terribly. But right now I am loving my warming, spicy and musky gels, or sweet and comforting bath products.

Note to self: get a new bottle of Rose Jam shower gel before it sells out. I’ve used up mine till the last drop, and also bout a rose jam to eat on a toast, along with rose tea and sparkling water. My rose obsession has no boundaries, really.
There is also a new shower gel for Valentine’s Day – Prince Charming, which is a “blend of grapefruit, sandalwood and geranium oils.” Can’t wait to smell it. Speaking of Lush, I’ve heard so many great things about their Sikkim Girls, that I just have to try it myself.
