Nail Polish Trend: Magnetic Nail Polish

I am actually happy that these days we don’t see that many crackle nail polishes any more. I can’t say that I liked the trend and would probably wear very few colours (I wouldn’t mind a gold crackle).

But do you know what happens when one trend is gone? The other one appears! Looks like the new trend in nail polishes = magnetic nail polishes.

Here is just an example from LCN.

And here is the video from their official channel

I have to say that I am excited to try these nail polishes!

By the way, LCN are having a contest for the US fans on their Facebook page were you can win some of their products. In the US nail polish retails for $9.90 and magnet for $19.90, the set is $115.90.

Would you try the magnetic nail polish? Do you like it?

  1. I’m so pleased that Crackle is over. It’s been everywhere for a year and I felt like I was the only person alive who didn’t like it (I felt it looked like a skin complaint).

I’m interested in magnetic polishes, although preparing myself for the onslaught when every brand under the sun also gets on board. But at least these are a more interesting effect than the crackle and I am looking forward to trying some out – I still have one of the very old and hard to find L’Oreal Star Magnet polishes in my collection.

PS – OPI are bringing out a gold shatter polish later in the year with their Muppet collection

    1. Hi Helen, Thanks a lot for the comment.
You are not alone, I am also tired of seeing Crackle everywhere. Thanks for the heads up about OPI.

    2. Totally Agree Helen! Didn’t like crackle myself. It seemed like it was everywhere!

This looks really cool, definitely something I’d be interested in seeing in real life!

They didn’t really say in the video, but do you put the magnet INTO the polish, or just hold it above?

  2. OMGosh!! This is soooo Cool!! What an awesome invention! I never liked the crackle nail polish. I don’t know…It just didn’t very much appeal to me but this new magnetic nail polish blew me away. The affect that it does is just beautiful. I’m totally buy it.

  3. I like the Crackle effect but I was starting to get fed up with so many brands releasing crackle polishes. It was just overwhelming. These magnetic polishes look pretty and cool too.
