I am on the hunt for a perfect Tinted Moisturizer for Spring and though I’d share what options I am considering. I’ve narrowed the list to 3 brands: Dior, BECCA and Hourglass. Now my only problem is that I can’t check out BECCA or Hourglass myself but since I love everything from the brands that I already have I am ready to risk.
So here are the options I am considering with the official information.
Dior Hydra Life Pro-Youth Skin Tint SPF 20 Tube 50ml, £28.50
“A lightweight, tinted moisturizer containing SPF 20 to help prevent sun damage. At the heart of the Dior Gardens blossoms the secret of new, intense hydration that helps to actively preserve youthfulness by diffusing moisture. Hydra Life combines three pure plant extracts derived from these gardens—Jisten, Centella, and Black Rose—to offer the skin all the benefits of the Cellular Bio-Exaltation. The tinted coverage offers light-diffusing pigments that create a natural and visibly enhanced complexion while the formula acts like a true defense barrier against environmental stress thanks to SPF UVA and UVB filters.”
BECCA Luminous Skin Colour, 50ml, £35
“A combination tinted moisturiser and sheer foundation, Luminous Skin Colour visibly improves the complexion, yet looks incredibly natural on the skin while offering skincare, makeup, and sun protection in one ingenious product. Contains anti-oxidant vitamins, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic ingredients with a broad spectrum SPF 25+.
Offers makeup, sun protection, and skincare in one convenient, travel friendly pump bottle. Combines broad spectrum SPF 25+ to protect against over 96% of both UVA and UVB rays. Contains anti-oxidant vitamins A, B, D, and E to aid tissue repair, increases collagen renewal and moisture holding capacity, while simultaneously protecting against pollution and free radical damage. Contains soothing anti-inflammatory and antiseptic ingredients. Can be applied with a foundation brush, fingertips, or a brush.”
Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free SPF 15, 30 ml £40
“An advanced alternative to liquid foundation with added SPF 15 and clinical levels of anti-aging complexes to create a youthful, glowing complexion. Ultra-rich and deeply moisturizing, Illusion offers moderate coverage to help even out skintone and create a natural, flawless finish. Added Instalift® at 3% lifts and visibly tightens the skin within one hour of application. Hyaluronic Filling Spheres™ at 3% help minimize the appearance of wrinkles while increasing skin’s hydration levels to deliver a healthy, dewy radiance. This oil-free formula provides intense hydration without feeling heavy or greasy. Ideal for normal and dry/dehydrated skin.”
Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts? What is your favourite Tinted Moisturiser?
My mum has good skin. So I just briefly took one of her SKII(http://www.geocities.jp/hongkong_skii/index_e.htm) to use, which I assume is a moisturizer. It’s good man I tell you! She gave me a small bottle of eye cream before but the effects weren’t that great and I stopped using. But my mum’s moisturizer is good! I can feel it reacting once I applied it
I recently ran out of my HG tinted moisturizer- Laura Mercier. When I went to replace it I was informed that BOTH of the colors I can pull off were out of stock and LM is hard to come by in Paris. Searching for a new one, a sales woman at Givenchy gave me a sample of their tinted moisturizer and it has completely replaced my LM one. I have also tried the older dior one, (the lightest color in the new formulation is MUCH too dark for my super pale skin) and the hourglass one, which I loved a couple of summers ago when I was much more than that I am now!
I’m very curious to see your review on BECCA’s as it is one of the few I have yet to try but have had my eye on!
