Tag: best BB cream
I have re-organized a lot of my makeup/skincare/body care/ hair care products this month. Yes, I am still trying to think of the best storage for my nail polishes.
It was a great thing to do since I a) re-discovered a lot of products b) gave away cosmetics that I don’t use any more to my aunt c) it’s just nice to have everything neat and tidy.
I actually like keeping some of my most-used products in the Jo Malone packaging, the classic cream and black boxes fit enough of products and look nice in my flat. Above you can see my personal most used primers-bases-concealers.
Showing you my top “base” products seemed like a nice idea, so here we go:
Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer in Ivory (review and face swatches)
I did not like it that much at first, but now I absolutely adore it. It gives a good coverage for a tinted moisturizer, and is a great product for the days when (you &) your skin is tired and lacks a glow, as it
I was in the mood for a navy eye makeup look so here is what I was wearing yesterday.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Aqua Primer
This is a great primer, as it doesn’t clog pores and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy in summer, plus makes the foundation go on smoothly and last loner.
Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream SPF 25
This has to be my favourite “foundation” for this summer. Perfect colour match, feels light on the skin but evens out the skin tone nicely. Full review here.
YSL Terre Saharienne Bronzing Powder in N° 5 Cinnamon Sand
Warms up the complexion and gives a beautiful glow, see the swatch.
BECCA Beach Tint in Raspberry
Long-lasting tint that blends into the skin and looks like it’s your own blush.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Eye Khol in Vera
Creamy khol that
Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream SPF 25 comes in a sleek red tube and there are three shades to choose from, and I was given the lightest one to try out.
My only problem is that it is too dark for me but it will be “solved” once I get some tan. I can get away with wearing this shade actually when I buff it in nicely and blend it down the neck and ears, too. It is not orangey or muddy, so it just warms up my complexion and gives it some nice warm tint.
But I am not sure why Clarins did not bring out a lighter shade…
As for the texture, it feels nice on the skin, it is lightweight and blends in nicely. I find that it evens out the skin tone but it doesn’t cover all the imperfections, as the coverage is light-to-medium, so you
I love Omorovicza so was delighted when I was asked if I’d like to try their Complexion Perfector BB SPF 20.
This is the best ‘foundation’ I have ever put on my face. This could be the end of my review but let me explain why.
The brand describes their products as the “Swiss army knife of the beauty industry”, which is a ‘moisturiser, foundation, sunscreen, concealer and anti-aging cream all-in-one’.
This BB cream has a nice soft texture which easily glides on the skin and leaves it baby-soft.
The coverage is sheer-to-medium but it evens out the skin tone beautifully. I personally don’t use anything else with it, not even an under eye concealer, as I love the results. But you may need/want to use concealer or powder on top.
The skin looks plumped and smooth! It really has a
