My Favourite Products For Under Eye Area: Eye Creams + Concealers

If you follow me on Instagram, you have already seen this photo, and my promise  of the feature. So here it is…

Actually, believe it or not, but usually I don’t care about dark circles (on myself, not when I am doing someone’s makeup), unless they really look that bad. But when I do want to look flawless, here is what I do.

First of all, I use a good eye cream, for me it has to be a moisturizing balm, as I have very dry skin. I love  Clarins Special Eye Contour Balm Dry Skin (review) and FOM London Revitalising Eye Care Balm (read about it), I leave it for some time while I am getting ready, and afterwards the following products are being used:

I am personally aTouche Eclat girl” when it comes to under eye products, although it is a highlighter, not a concealer, I find that it works for me! But sometimes, that is not enough. If only I had more hours of sleep.

I have very dry skin, so can’t imagine putting heavy, full coverage concealers/correctors under the eyes, as those would make me look 10 years older.

That’s why I was curious to try Clarins’ Insant Concealer.

I have shade No2, which is described as 02 pinky-beige, and which is a perfect match for my skin tone.

I love the design of this concealer, you don’t have to put your fingers in it, or  use the attached brush, like with most  concealer-type products, so it’s a good one to have in a kit, too.

Once again, it’s nice to see that the good ol’ foundations are back. I already did several  features about the new releases and this time it’s all about Clarins!

The brand is releasing a new foundation and concealer this September, so let’s take a look!

Everything about this foundations sounds incredible:  It is supposed to moisturize the skin and help to reduce the dehydration, as it contains a Plant Micro-patch (Brown Algae extract and Acacia gum), Organic Argan Oil and White Tea.

Extra-Comfort Foundation protects from the UV rays and pollution.

What about the formula and finish? The brand promises us radiant and luminous skin which is achieved with the help of soft focus pigments combined with pearls.
