The first product that I have bought from Urban Decay was their Deluxe eye shadow. Two deluxe eye shadows to be precise, black Zero and reddish Heat. Of course, red and black are my favourite colours.
I am actually surprised that I have never ever written about those as they are absolutely lovely. They are expensive compared to UD (but not at all compared to other eye shadows) palettes but so worth it if you love the colour.
I also love that each eye shadow has individual design and a colourful label on the back. It also has a nice mirror inside.
So here is how Heat looks like in the pan. It’s a gorgeous reddish shade! It has a beautiful satin finish and is simply perfect. It like that it is not too metallic or frosty and I am very happy there is no shimmer or glitter! Reddish shades can be tricky to wear but this one is great. It doesn’t make me look tired or as if I’ve been crying.
Quality-wise, it is amazing as well, pigmented, smooth and long-lasting. It’s easy to apply and blend this eye shadow.
Here is the swatch and a comparison with Illamasqua’s Pure Pigment in Berber which I simply adore. Both are incredibly gorgeous and I really love wearing them a lot!
If you know any similar shades please let me know!
i have this and really need to wear heat more often! forgot all about it
So did I and re-discovered it only recently! It’s really beautiful.
On screen, it looks like sexpectations from last year’s Peacocky collection by Mac (mega metal eyeshadows, permanent, I think).
Oh, thanks, Dana!
That’s a pretty shade! Love the packaging too.
