Do you remember the fantastic Legally Bronze set by Benefit which was available at American Sephora for $35 (the value is $105)! So you save $70, amazing, right?! So guess what?! It’s back!!!
Last time when it was available a lovely friend from America was kind enough to get it for me. I’ve already reviewed Hoola Bronzer. I also plan to write a post about my fave liquid highlighters and High Beam is one of them. As for mascara, I’ve lost it somehow so there will be no review about it. But today I will tell you about the Gilded eye pencil from the set.
It’s a bronzy gold eye pencil which I personally use all over the lid. I’d even describe this colour as a bronzy melon which is beautiful especially if you have tan!
This is how is looks like
And here is the swatch and my impression
I was excited to try Gilded as I saw it only in this set and I am not sure if you can get it separately. My eye lids are not oily at all so when I used a thin layer of this product it lasts pretty well. In fact today I am wearing it paired with Illamasqua’s Ore pigment and it looks gorgeous.
Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to try it on the oily lids yet but I assume that it may crease especially if you apply a thick layer of the product.
In general, I think Gilded is a nice thing to have and I would highly recommend you getting the Legally Bronze set NOW before it’s out of stock again!
wow, that is such a pretty color! I would like to give that a try, looks lovely for the summer really.
I’d recommend you getting the set, amazing value!
ooh really pretty! Have you tried wearing it on your lips? I remember Karen did a post once w/ this under a red lipgloss, and it looked beautiful.
Oh, really?! I never even thought about it, will try it then 🙂
That’s a beautiful shade, would love to try it. Thanks for the review.
that is really pretty!! i am always looking for something shimmery for my lids… but is it really hard? do you apply it to your finger first then your lid?? or is it creamy enough to pencil it right on?
Hi, Ashley Nicole
It is quite hard but I usually apply it directly on my lids!
I really love the legally bronze set and was going to buy it but before I could it went out of stock on sephora.com. it still says it is! where did you see that it was in stock?
hi, Elena.
It was the same last time so be sure to check it from time to time! It took my friend 2 weeks to finally get it! Good Luck.
