So today I want to tell you about something that I’ve been using a lot this month. Illamasqua’s Pure Pigment in Ore (£15) which is described as rich russet bronze. It is from their latest collection the Art of Darkness.
Of course I love the design of the product which is sleek and elegant just like all the Illamasqua products. This package is very practical and your pigment doesn’t fall out and doesn’t become a total mess when you use it, you can get the perfect amount of the pigment.
The colour is stunning! It is beautiful on its own, over the primer for a more intense look or over some shadows if you want to add the sparkle! This product contains pretty shimmer but it’s not that vulgar chunky glitter. But anyway you should be careful when using it not to find it under your eyes.
So this is how Ore looks like swatched with and without primer, isn’t it just gorgeous? This is probably the most popular part from the collection and is a “safe” product to try if you are afraid of colour. But if you are not they also have a blue pigment which is called Alluvium.
I also have the new liquid metal in Stoic, a metallic emerald which I got from the company so stay tuned for the review and swatches.
I love the swatch with the primer, it’s such a beautiful color! 🙂
REally nice! <3 Love it! 🙂
what a gorgeous color! I love shimmery warm colors like this, even just as a wash over the eyelid, I think they brighten my eyes up instantly
