Being a huge HydraQuench Clarins range fan, I was extremely excited about the Tinted Moistirizer from the line which came out recently.
It’s been the only “base” product that I’ve been wearing for the last two weeks. I also included it in my May beauty favourites.
Why do I love it so much?
It is a light and non-greasy or oily texture, which is exactly what I need in summer. It doesn’t feel heavy and I don’t get that horrible feeling, as if my skin can’t breathe and I need to take off my makeup as soon, as possible.
Being Clarins, the formula includes skin beneficial ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, which makes it a skincare-makeup-hybrid. I have very dry skin, and I get a lot of dry patches, even in warm weather. Luckily, the product doesn’t emphasize those, and smooths the skin, actually.
As if this was not enough, Clarins Tinted Moisturizer has more amazing qualities. It adds glow and radiance to the face! My shades, which is 00Porcelain has a subtle rosy glow to it, which reminds me of my favourite Instant Radiance Boosting Complexion Base which I’ve almost used up already.
And did I mention SPF15 and mineral sun filters?
The only thing that I am not sure about is the range of shades. I have the lightest one, Porcelain, and it is still a bit darker than my skin, so I am not sure how dark the other ones are.

The price is £30 for 50ml, and it looks like it’s not available in the USA yet.
I have tried a lot of Clarins base products, and this one has to be my favourite. It’s like a mix of skincare, radiant primer and light coverage foundation. Brilliant!
