Current Hand Cream Obsessions: Soap & Glory and & Other Stories

Regular readers know that I am a hand cream fanatic, and I have written so many features on the ones I like during these seven years. The latest post was on Aveeno and Neal’s Yard Remedies, along with cheaper alternatives from Nivea and Garnier. Here is also a selection of my top 5 hand creams (which probably should be revisited).

And here are my latest discoveries…

Hand Creams Soap and Glory Hand Food and & Other Stories Couture Carnival Hand Lotion

& Other Stories Couture Carnival Hand Lotion

I am so in love with this lotion that I have bought two bottles!  The beautiful minimalistic Scandinavian design, the convenient pump, the light and non-greasy but, at the same time, moisturizing texture.  And the smell. Oh, the smell of it!

I mean, you can’t go wrong with with something described as “rainbow fruit cocktails, dancing ’till down”, can you? The scent is juicy strawberry, raspberry and guava medley; sprinkled with lily of the valley, patchouli, black amber and a gourmet note of praline.

Some of the ingredients are: meadowfoam seed oil, macadamia oil, sweet almond oil, vitamine E, shea butter. I use it not only as a hand lotion but also s a body lotion. Can I say once again how much I love it?!

There are also so many other amazing scents I want to get. I’d probably start with fig and with lemon.

As for Soap & Glory Hand Food  (from Ulta)-  I have a small tube to carry it around in my bag, as it is a light cream that is good to be applied on-the-go. It sinks in within seconds but still makes the skin feel softer and smoother. But it is all about the scent, again. It does smell of Miss Dior, as everyone says it does.  And it makes me feel like I am 20 again. Kind of.

Here is to discovering more amazing hand products!

  1. I adore Hand Food… but despise the Marshmallow scent that I find myself often not reaching for it despite how good it is. Wish they made an unscented version.
