Regular readers will know my obsession with hand creams, here is actually a post about my top 5 from last year, and I should probably write an updated version at some point.

I am a huge believer in a hand cream, and I always have one in my handbag, always. It is a necessity in colder months to protect the skin, to moisturise and nourish it. Also, we all know – the way your hands look can give away your age. And I personally can’t stand dried out skin. Applying hand cream is a pure relaxing little luxury, especially when the product has that spa-like scent. But unscented products like La Rosche Posay or the one shown above from Aveeno also rock, effect-wise.
Anyway, here are my two most recent purchases, and they both are really lovely. Aveeno hand cream with colloidal oatmeal and Neals Yard Remedies bee lovely to your hands hand cream.
These two are not exactly expensive but are not the cheapest hand creams, so if you are looking for a budget option, I would recommend Nivea and Garnier. I really love both, and think they are effective even for very dry skin, they are brilliant, especially for the price.
I have just finished both but will definitely re-purchase in the future. Just not now, as I am properly stocked on up on hand creams.
