I can’t believe that this year the cult meteorites by Guerlian celebrate 30! This magical powder, the glow-giver for three decades already, was created by Dominique Szabo, Guerlain’s Creative Director of the time, back in 1987.
And I remember that every beauty lover had to have them, a lot of people actually collected all releases and would do anything to get yet another special edition compact. I do have a few myself (see here and here).
So which products are a part of the latest collection?
First of all, there are two KissKiss lipsticks in a limited edition packaging: Blossom Glow, a lively pink, and a more tender and glossy Pearly Pink.
A cute pink Meteorites The Brush which, according to the brand, is a redesigned brush with an improved, extremely practical design and works great for the signature iconic G application technique.
And what about the meteorites themselves that come in a compact and pressed variation?
You can choose between (or get both actually) Meteorites Happy Glow Pearls, light-Revealing Pearls of Powder. Champagne to reflect light, mauve to counter yellow hues and catch the light, and pink for a refreshing, complexion-brightening effect.
Meteorites Happy Glow Blush, light-Sculpting Compacted Pearls of Powder. Inspired by Météorites Voyage, this 2-in-1 blush and highlighter product enhances the skin’s glow. The multi- coloured shimmer, pink pearls offer a refreshing, complexion- brightening effect, while fuchsia pearls revive radiance and create a fresh complexion.
The products are available from Escentual. Guerlain is also available from Harrods, Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Selfridges and Nordstrom.
And, in case if you haven’t seen me tweeting about it, Anjelina Jolie will be the face of the new Guerlain’s fragrance.
