Guerlain just added a new perfume to their exclusive and luxurious line which already includes: CRUEL GARDÉNIA (notes of gardenia), ROSE BARBARE (Bulgarian rose), IRIS GANACHE (Tuscan iris), ANGÉLIQUE NOIRE (angelica from france), SPIRITUEUSE DOUBLE VANILLE (Madagascan vanilla), BOIS D’ARMÉNIE (benzoin from Laos), TONKA IMPÉRIALE (venezuelan tonka bean) and CUIR BELUGA (leathery notes).
The new creation of Thierry Wasser is called MYRRHE et DELIRES and Guerlain describe it the following way:
‘The whole art consisted in skilfully blurring the lines of a rich and radical raw material (myrrh). The top notes are fresh, fruity and yet tenderly spicy. The following inflection is more powerful, with a floral heart of iris and rose, to which myrrh brings a bearing and amplitude commensurate with their essential charm. An enchanting dialogue in which frankincense, patchouli and a hint of liquorice blend together in mischievous delight.’
The price is £154/€175
There is one more new, and more affordable, fragrance by Guerlain which is called La Petite Robe Noire.
It sounds wonderful! And the bottle is so elegant too.
