June 2017 Beauty Favourites

June was a very busy month for me, so I did not discover/rediscover that many beauty products, however, I truly love the ones I am mentioning, they are real gems.

Makeup

Omorovicza Complexion Perfector BB SPF 20 (review and swatches). (Buy it from Cult Beauty, Net a Porter, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom)

This is one of the best base products I have ever used. I am convinced it is some kind of Magyar mágia (Hungarian magic), as it makes the face look flawless, radiant and even younger. As I have mentioned in my original review, my friend was very skeptical about my big love for this, but after trying mine, she ordered one the next day. I personally think that you can’t really go wrong with Omorovicza products in general.  They are very expensive but are worth it.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara and  Colour Chameleon in  Amber Haze. (Buy CT from Cult Beauty, Net A Porter, Nordstrom and Bergdorf Goodman)

I should really write detailed reviews about the Charlotte Tilbury products. Both of these  were a present from a friend, and I am happy she thought of me. Legendary Lashes mascara creates absolutely incredible lashes: full, voluminous and long. Not that many mascaras will give you this effect. However, it smudges like crazy, and unless I use it with a waterproof top coat – I will end up with mascara on my upper lids. But I am kind of ready to forgive this for the effect I get.  Colour Chameleons were created to enhance the colour of your eyes, and the shade I have was created for brown eyes. It does look very beautiful, glides on and blends out easily, it has a great lasting power, too.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Gazpacho (get it here)

I have so many gorgeous red lipsticks, but this creamy opaque blue toned red is pretty much the only one I have been using lately. Again, I should really write a proper review soon. The formula feels comfortable and creamy on the lips, and I find it to be pretty long-lasting, unless you are eating greasy food.

Beauty

ID Hair By The Sea Seawater Spray (as seen here)

I have decided to try this Swedish hair care/styling brand after my hair dresser started using/raving about it. So far, this hair spray is my favourite, it creates that “beachy effect” without  making the hair too crispy. I have already bought several items, and  will be getting more  from the brand for sure.

I really like Nivea body lotions and cream so when I saw that they’ve launched four scents as a part of their Sensual collection, I had to pick the Rose one. And I really like it, it leaves the skin silky and smooth, and smells nice.  You can also get vanilla, cherry  blossom or  chocolate lotions.
