MAC Fix + Review. Great Multi-Purpose Product.

It’s hard to call me a MACoholic but I do love some MAC products and today I want to tell you about one of them.

I got it because the lovely Marlena from Makeup Geek was raving about it all the time and she was telling that this is her most favourite beauty product of all time.

So what is it?

It is an ” aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up”. You get 100ml for £11/$19.

How does it work?

First of all I have to say that I am glad that I got my first bottle several months ago and I believe I will get one more bottle after I finish this one.

This is how I personally use it:

  • Sometimes I use some  Fix + before I apply any makeup to moisturize the skin and to prepare it for the makeup.
  • I also use it on the brushes or mix with a product when I was a more intense effect.
  • I finish the makeup with Fix +. It really sets everything, and your skin looks so smooth and natural, as if you don’t have  layers of primer-foundation-concealer-powder on your face. And who doesn’t want such effect? Plus it smells nice which is always a bonus.

I’ve been using this mostly on dry and normal skin but I’ve read that girls with oily skin like it as well. If you have an oily skin and use this product  – please share your experience. I’d also love to hear how you are using Fix + so be sure to share.

As you can see it is a very useful product and I believe it’s worth getting it.

  1. I have this (I have Fix + Rose from Rose Romance from last year) and in all honesty I have used it maybe 3-4 times. I just don’t know what to do with it. I don’t like spraying my face with it after I’ve finished doing my make up, as it makes my skin look oily and I haven’t really found any other uses for it. So it’s a no from me I’m afraid.

    1. For me the main thing is that it really works. I mean, I can see a HUGE difference even if it’s just a water with glycerine. All the girls I’ve used it on loved the results. But again I haven’t tried it on oily skin (yet).

  2. You make me really want to get this! I mainly heard that people used this to foil, but since I just use water, I didn’t think it was worth it. I’ve also heard that a lot of people use it to set their makeup though, and I think I might want to look into it.
