Today, I want to talk about one of them—Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara. I have a mini version, so it was perfect for travelling.
It’s been a while since I used a tubing mascara, and I honestly don’t know why, because they’re fantastic. I used to loved the BECCA one (and I’m sure I’m not alone in missing that brand), so I had high hopes for the Hourglass version.
“Instant Extensions” is a fitting name for this product. I was really impressed with the results—thanks to the lightweight fibers in the formula and the flexible brush, that made it easy to coat each lash and build up layers without clumping.
In addition to the impressive length, volume, and rich pigmentation, what stood out to me the most was how long-lasting this mascara is. As someone with sensitive eyes that tend to water easily, I really appreciated that it never transferred or smudged. Even when I was swimming in the sea and jumping in waves, the mascara stayed intact, and when it did come off, it was mess-free.
It’s also incredibly easy to remove—just use warm water and gently slide off the “tubes” from your lashes, say goodbye to makeup removers or rubbing your eyes.
