Nail Polish Trend: Nude Nails for Holiday 2013

First of all, I am sorry about the lack of posts, I have been very ill, again. And, although I have been at home all this week, I was in bed most of the time, feeling horrible. But now I can finally do some reading and also write some posts, I have actually missed those things. I’ve even missed work, hopefully will be back to normal life soon…

It is the time of the year when you’d expect red and glitter in terms of nail polish, and you’d be correct. But, I have noticed an interesting trend. Quite a few new nude nail varnish collections. I guess, you could never go wrong with a chic, sophisticated, and polished  manicure!  That is timeless, I’d say.

Lets’s take a look!

First of all, Burberry finally launched their nail polish line, and although I personally love the Oxblood shade, you can always count on Burberry for some gorgeous natural shades, such as  100 Nude Beige and 101 Rose Beige, shown above.

Zoya brought out a Naturel nail polish range, and I have  chosen two pinkish nudes – Brigitte, bombshell mauve cream and Rue boudoir blush cream.

Clinique also offer a nice selection of nudes: from pale to rich shades, so girls with different skin tone can find something suitable for them. On the photo above  – Nighty Night and Chocolote On My Pillow.

So what do you think? Will you be wearing nude this holiday season on your nails? If that it too boring, you can always add some shimmer/glitter on top, right?

This makes me want to use “my” nude shade which is Rimmels’ Alaska.
