It seems that I have written quite a few features about berry & plum lips. Including this and this but I don’t think I’ve ever shared my affordable and luxury picks.
Berry lips are my favourite actually. And, although they are super hot for AW, I can wear them at any time. And so should you, don’t limit yourself by anything… By the way, have you see the gorgeous look from Dolce & Gabbana SS15 show that Pat McGrath created (check out the photos below)?
I think every girl should own a nice berry/plum lipstick. Which one? It only depends on the shade that you prefer and your budget.
So here are two options: very different price point but are utterly divine anyway.
Tom Ford Lip Color in Bruised Plum (review and lip swatches)
Tom Ford beauty started with lipsticks, and they are still the most covetable item from his line. Luxurious packaging, TF logo, beautiful texture and flattering shades. If £37/$50 price point is something you would consider – it is an amazing “investment”. My friends are always laughing at me, and saying that makeup can NOT be an investment. Oh well…
Tom Ford beauty is available from: Harrods, Selfridges, Bloomingdales, Saks, Bergdorf Goodman.
Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 107 (review and lip swatches)
If you can’t or don’t want to spend a small fortune on a lip product – Kate Moss Rimmel lipsticks are your best friends. In all honesty, I have several shades and I love them just as much, as my high end ones. 107 is already a cult shade in a way, it is truly beautiful. You get an opaque. long-lasting lipstick which, I think, looks very flattering on. Obviously, it doesn’t come in a luxurious heavy packaging but it is probably my favourite one out of all the budget lip products. And the fact that it has to do something with Kate Moss? Sold!
You can purchase Rimmel from Feel Unique, Boots, ASOS, Ulta, Superdrug.
Can you see that plum/berry can look good on different girls? 😉

Oh, and you are welcome to send me photos of yourself wearing berry lips via Twitter, I’d love to see them!
