Sleek Cosmetics Berry Collection Review and Swatches

I know that I am ‘supposed’ to write about the sweet pastel shades as it is Spring…

But I just want to show you this set from Sleek which is still available (I’ve just checked) and which is their ‘Christmas collection’. I just had to get it as the colours are very beautiful!

This set is called the Berry collection, retails for £10/€12 and includes three berry products:

  • Fenberry blush, crimson rose
  •  Kohl Pencil  Mossberry, a deep burgundy
  • True Colour lipstick in Cranberry, a matte mulled wine  colour

Now I have pretty mixed feelings about this set. Although I LOVE it a lot, there are things that I don’t like that much.

Fenberry blush

This is my first blush from Sleek and I really like the quality: pigmentation, staying power and the shade are amazing. I am definitely getting more blushes from them in the future. Have you seen their amazing trio blushes?

Kohl Pencil Mossberry

This is actually  a wearable shade although it may look scary to some people. This liner was the main reason why I wanted the set to badly.  It is not the softest liner and it does not ‘glide on’ plus doesn’t have the most amazing staying power but I love it anyway. If you are afraid of the shade – try adding a thin black line on top and lots of mascara! It would look amazing on green eyes but I love it on my (brown) eyes, too.

True Colour lipstick in Cranberry

This is the lipstick that I was wearing for my Birthday which actually says a lot. I absolutely adore  the colour, definitely one of my favourites. I actually like how Sleek describe this shade as a ‘deep matte mulled wine’ as I find it accurate. But… Your lips have to be in a perfect condition to wear it! It will show all the dry areas, even those you did not know about.  I wish the texture was softer and creamier. But since I won’t wear it every day,  I can handle that. Love the colour, not so much the quality.

And here are the swatches: khol, lipstick and blush.

As you can see, there are things that I like and don’t about this set but I really love it overall.
