SS20 New In: Tom Ford, Kerastase, Le Labo and Rouje

As I’ve already mentioned a few times, these days I try to post about the new launches on my Facebook group.

But I still love writing these round-ups of the new launches which stood out to me the most, so here we go. Makeup, fragrance, hair care and a fragrance.

Tom Ford Rose Prick, £218 from Selfridges  and Nordstrom.

When it comes to names like this it can go very wrong it can just get too tacky and vulgar. However “rose prick” somehow manages to avoid that, or is it just me? And I can never have too many rose fragrances. Bulgarian, Turkish and Rose de Mai mixed with  Sichuan pepper, turmeric and tonka bean. I have to sniff it next time I am near TF counter.

Speaking of fragrances, the cult perfume brand Le Labo launched skin- hair- and body care.  As it turned out, it’s not a new launch but the products started appearing in Britain (Cult Beauty, Liberty London, John Lewis) only recently (or maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention?).   While some of their perfumes are quite an investment, the beauty line is a lot more purse-friendly. Plus, there are discovery sets for just £8 (shower gel, body lotion, shampoo and  conditioner; shown below) Yes, please!

Another firm favourite of mine, Kerastase (from Feel Unique and  Sephora.), released a new range – Genesis.

It is described as a “fortifying range for weakened hair, prone to falling due to breakage. Enriched with a potent combination of Edelweiss Native Cells and Ginger Root, the formula strengthens the fiber for intense resilience to reduce the risk of hair-fall due to breakage.” There are quite a few items to choose from: shampoos, mask, serum, hair ampules and styling.

Finally, Jeanne Damas and her brand, Rouje, brought out eye makeup products (eye liner €19 and mascara €25) and an eye lash curler (€12). As always the promo images are incredible. So is the design. If it’s not a faff to place an order (I just don’t want to be paying a lot for the shipping, to be honest), I will try the eye liner later on.  You can buy it from Rouje website.
