Tag: best shower gel
I have to say that I am a bit of a shower gel snob, and that doesn’t mean that I don’t like a good ol’ Nivea or similar brands, it is just sometimes you get so busy that shower can be the only “me/relaxation” time. This is why it really matters what products I am using.
For me the most important factor is the scent, I love me a good aroma-therapy session. I also want it to be non-drying but I have to use a cream/butter after any shower product. Yes, any.
Kiehl’s Original Musk caught my attention because of the name, obviously, I like musky/warm scents, especially in winter. And it being Kiehl’s I’ve also expected high quality.
Moreover, I like the
I definitely did not need another shower gel but Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter got my attention, and I wanted to try it. I’ve actually picked it up without even smelling it, as I wanted it to be a surprise. I’ve bought it, as it sounded like a nice product for dry skin…
So what was my impression?
At first I was not a big fan of the scent but now I am addicted, and I mean it. It smells of almonds, pistachios and vanilla, intoxicating and sweet. I totally get the warning “This is not food” on the tube. Maybe it is not the best product for those on a diet as it will probably make you crave a dessert.

While I was shopping for my friends & family, I just had to get some products for myself, too, right? And here is a little preview of the things that I’ve bought.
First of all some products from Cult Beauty.
There was a GWP from Costes, so I just had to get their shower gel: one for me, one for a friend, as a special treat, to get a mini soap and a a mini bath soak.
I have also picked up a set from REN for sensitive skin, speaking of REN, the brand brought out amazing gift sets this year.
And a new cleanser, this time from Oskia, and so far I am really loving it.
I thought I’d start Monday with a quick post about my current morning shower routine. I have bought several new products last week, and absolutely enjoy using them, along with some old time favourites.
Here they are:
Costes Shower Gel, £18 for 200 ml from Cult Beauty
I already had a Costes soap, and this time decided to get a shower gel. And, it’s the same signature addictive scent of a” spicy, woody mix of coriander seeds, white pepper, laurel, oriental woods, incense, musk and a touch of rose”. Shower gel is a very boring purchase, unless it’s this one. Not only I’ve got a tube for myself, but also one for a very special friend.
This is still one of my favourite shampoos, it
I’ve found a new love – Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel.
And I’ve found a shower gel that is equally amazing! It is a sweet and mesmerizing scent of rose jam that makes me think of childhood, since my Grandma used to make it.
