Affordable Fuchsia Lips and Nails For Summer

I am a huge fan of vibrant fuchsia  lips and nails, and wear that combo a lot! In fact, I even posted a photo on my Instagram lately.

So I thought that today I’d show you some of my favourite affordable options, if you don’t want to spend a fortune on beauty products.

Fuchsia affordable rimmel maybelline revlonFor lips I’d recommend Revlon’s Lip Butter in Sorbet (review and swatches) and Rimmel’s Vinyl Gloss in Pin Up (review and swatches). Both are juicy and vibrant, sheer but bright glossy lip shades which are perfection for summer.

But if you want something more opaque or matte and more long-lasting, you may want to check these options from Bourjois and L’Oreal.

This weekend I was actually

Nails Of The Day: Maybelline Colorama in Power Red

I have quite a few  Maybelline Colorama nail polishes, so I was curious to try the re-launched range. Compared to the old design (and my horrible photos) this new look  is so much better, it is chic and looks like it could be a part of a luxury line.

The brush is also easier to use now, it’s not  a wide-and-thin  one but I can’t complain.

Maybelline Colorama in Power Red 23 nail swatchI have picked a red nail polish because I wear red a lot!  You can see how two coats look like above. Not bad, right?

But since I have a lot of red nail polishes already (my favourite has to be Revlon Red, the best red, in my opinion), I gave this one to my aunt along with red lipstick. My uncle better appreciate, ha!

Nails Of The Day: Maybelline Honey Crystals

So today I am wearing  Honey Crystals nail polish by Maybelline. It looks like the polish that would look nice on top of others so this is why I’ve got it. But today I am wearing it on its own.

I am wearing two coats of the polish, no top coat. These two photos with focus and without show you pretty much all about this nail polish

This is not really my style but it’s just a nail polish so I can remove it any time I want, right? Plus the price is very affordable so it’s a nice deal.

Nails of the Day: Maybelline Ballerina

And here is one more Maybelline nail polish which is called Ballerina. It’s a sheer colour which is perfect for those people who don’t love bright or opaque  nail polishes.

But you can put on more coats if don’t want your colour to be too sheer, just as I did. The good thing is that with this nail polish even with 4 coats (see the photo) you don’t feel like you have tones on your nails.

Nails of the Day: Maybelline Bubblicious

So this is the fifth Maybelline nail polish that I got and this time it’s a hot bright pink. And guess what? The colour looks great only with one coat! And with 2 you get a perfect manicure which is great. I guess it’s a nice nail polish for the price. And I kinda like the name Bubblicious 🙂

On the photo I am wearing 2 coats on Bubblicious, no top coat.
