Uplifting Body Care: Shower Gel and Body Lotion

After this feature about the new products that should be pretty epic for face, hair and body, I’ve decided to share the duo that I am currently loving.

Faith In Nature Grapefruit and Orange Body Wash, £5.79 (Holland & Barrett; Boots) and This Works In The Zone Body Lotion, £24 (M&S; Space NK)

I personally don’t like to have too many products from the same category but still love having 3-5 options to rotate them based on my mood, and skin condition.

And these are the shower gel and body cream combo which I reach for most of the times these days.

Both are definitely morning products.  And I am obsessed withthem because they smell really nice.  The uplifting and  energising  scent helps to start the day  with a positive mindset.  I am a big believer in aromatherapy, especially now.

Grapefruit and Orange Body Wash has that perfectly balanced citrus scent which is not too sharp and bitter but not sickly sweet, either. It may be one of my favourite citrus scents.  Faith In Nature promise they only use 100% natural fragrance of essential oils.  I have tried a few different scents from the brand and this one is, by far, my favourite.

As for the  In The Zone Body Lotion,  it is a blend of Eucalyptus, Patchouli and Frankincense, scent wise. So, just like the shower gel, it puts me in the “I am ready for the new day” mindset. Glycerin and  coconut oil are top of the ingredients list so the lotion does leave the skin soft and smooth. I personally also really like the design of the bottle, and the marketing of This Works in general. It is smart, and makes me curious about the products.

It is all about the little things, I think. And even such mundane things, as taking a shower and moisturising your skin can become little self-care rituals with the  right products/scents.

Here is the list of the ingredients:

I am actually almost done with both items so am waiting for the “uplifting” replacements which are on the way. This time I went for Korres and Jordan Samuel Skin.
