April 2014 Beauty Favourites

Can you believe that  today is the first of May? Last month of Spring, time flies…

New month = new monthly favouries. And I really love all the products below.

April 2014 Beauty Favourites makeup4all garnier, elemis Rouge bunny rouge timotei brushesMakeup wise, I had pretty much the same favourites, as in March: , RBR eye shadows in Solstice Halcyon, Marc Jacobs’ Lola nail polish, NYX’s Taupe, Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream and Clarins’ gloss.

This is why this time I want to tell you about some other products:

Brushes

This month I just have to mention two brushes. First of all, I’ve been using a “classic” flat foundation brush. I usually apply bases  with my  fingers or kabuki Sigma brushes but I’ve decided to start using those original foundation brushes again. So, I’ve been loving this one from Lancome. I still remember how much I wanted to buy that set, my friend bought it for me in the States. And I like the results and the finish it creates.

My other brush hero is Rouge Bunny Rouge’s Face Contour Brush 012. This is a brilliant tool for contouring, more details coming soon.

Face

Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm (review)

This product lives up to the name, it does give you a glowing and luminous complexion.

Body

Garnier Oil Beauty Oil-Infused Nourishing Scrub (review)

If you have dry & flaky skin, and find most body scrubs drying, Garnier’s scrub is a great option to try, it is infused with oils, and doesn’t dry (too many “dry” words, right?) out the skin. In fact, is leaves it soft and smooth. Plus smells amazing.

Bio Marine Firming Body Cream

I was unsure whether of not I should include this cream because I don’t know where you can get it or the price, but decided to do it anyway.  I’ve got it as a present from the BF who was at the Dead Sea recently and got it there. And, let me tell you, this cream, and all the other products he brought are just divine.  They all smell amazing, and are very effective.  Now I want to go myself…

Hair

Timotei Precious Oils Shampoo

Timotei is not a brand that I religiously follow. So I was pleasantly surprised to love this shampoo so much. It is actually my Mum’s. I forgot mine, so tried this one, and liked it so much that I decanted some for myself ( It will be our lill’ secret, ok?), and I have been using it almost every time I washed my hair this month. It makes my hair shiny and glossy. And, yes, I was even told so.

Nails

Mavala Minute Quick Finish Fast Dryer Top Coat (review)

As you can see, I’ve used up about a half already, and plan to get another Mavala top coat. And, yes, by the colour of it, you can see that I do love my red nail polish.
