Jo Malone Cologne Set. One Of My Favourite Sets Ever

I forgot that I’ve actually never posted about one of my favourite purchases of this year.  It was the Jo Malone Christmas Cologne set which was a present from myself for myself 😉

I’ve got Lime Basil & Mandarin, Grapefruit, Pomegranate Noir, Red Roses, Orange Blossom and Vanilla & Anise colognes, 9 ml each, for £60.

Regular (30ml) cologne retails for £36 so I think it is an awesome way to try different colognes and to have those that you don’t like that much in a small bottle just to mix it with others.

I loved pretty much all of these colognes. My favourite combination has to be Red Roses and Vanilla & Anise! I also love wearing Orange Blossom on its own.

Red Roses reminds me of the rose jam my Mum used to make when I was a child, this is definitely not a scent for everyone, some may even hate it. But I personally adore it. Vanilla & Anise is just a beautiful warm and a bit spicy scent  which is wonderful. As for Orange Blossom, I think a lot of people may like. It is a blend  of orange flower, water lily  and lilac with oris and vetiver.

There will be a set this year, too. But, unfortunately, I don’t remember the price and the colognes that will be included. I am definitely going to take a look when it’s available. Until then I am lusting after this cologne.

I would like to thank London Makeup Girl for helping me tracking this set down when they most of the sets were sold out.

You can buy Jo Malone from Selfridges,  Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.

  1. Having heard so much about Jo Malone but never trying it before, I took the plunge a few months ago and purchased online Pomegranate Noir and Lime Basil & Mandarin. I love them both and want Lime & Cedar next. It is hard as I rarely get a change to try a tester in store, but I tried Vanilla & Rose intense and that was beautiful. I agree that these minatures are such a good idea, allowing you to try things you may otherwise have ignored, and find out which are your favourites. I think this year’s birthday present to myself will be an afternoon in Selfridges beauty hall! x

    1. I’ve actually got my set without trying, too. Am really curious what colognes they are going to include this year! And have fun at the Selfridges 🙂 x
