Laura Mercier Bonne Mine Palette Review and Swatches

You may remember that I have been looking for Laura Mercier’s Bonne Mine palette everywhere. I have got it a long time ago so I have no idea why I never wrote a proper review on it yet.

I though it was a limited edition palette… But it is actually available at Sephora, where I’ve got it from, for $48.

The main idea why I’ve wanted it so much was to to have all-in-one face product. It saves so much space!

I love the classic white design with Laura’s signature on  top.

Here is how the colours inside look like. You get: 0.36 oz Bronzer Veil, 2 x 0.14 oz Cheek Veil and 2 x 0.14 oz Glow Veil.

You also get a detailed instructions on how to use everything and where is the best to use each product.

And what about the quality and my impression?

The colours are actually warmer and darker than I would like them to be for my personal skin tone (as you can see from the photos). Most products from the palette work for me in  the summer when I have a darker skin tone and I can use only blushes in winter if I blend them properly.

However, I am very happy with this palette as it allows  to create a beautiful polished ‘healthy’ look. It also looks fantastic on people with darker and warmer skin tones, obviously

I find that  Bonne Mine products blend into the skin beautifully and last nicely. Also, since the texture is not so creamy, I think that it would work great for those who have oily skin. It should not look oily or greasy as some products. I haven’t tried it but definitely plan to!

Besides face, you can also use these this palette on the eyes and maybe on the lips on top of the lip gloss, as it may be drying otherwise. On the eye it does crease, unfortunately. But these are not eye shadows after all so that is ok, I still love the effect it gives.

I think  that Bonne Mine – Healthy Glow For Face & Cheeks Crème Colour Palette (yes, that’s a full name) is a great investment as you get all your face products in one place. Plus it saves you a lot of money as you pay only $48 for five Laura Mercier products!

You can also buy it here for £37.
