Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in #5 Review, Photos and Swatches

I’ve been wanting to try Make Up For Ever Aqua Creams for a long time now. So when I had an opportunity to visit Make Up For Ever boutique back in July I was very excited.

I am actually very impressed with myself because I’ve managed to leave the store with only one product and it was Aqua Cream in shade # 5 which is a peach with golden shimmer.

It was very hard to choose the shade but somehow I’ve  got this one.

Just like  a lot of other Make Up For Ever products, you can use this one in so many different ways and this is what I love about it so much.

It  work greats on the lips. The good thing is that you can get different shades by applying one or more layers. I personally loved it with one layer gently patted with my fingers, otherwise it looks too metallic for my taste.

I’ve also used it on my cheeks but I find that the glitter is too obvious  so I won’t be using it as a blush on myself. But you may love it – so give it a go. It is a bit similar to Orgasm by NARS but Orgasm has more pink to it and less shimmer.

I read that this shade is not recommended to be used on the eyes.  But  did wear it several times on myself and everything was fine. However,  if you have sensitive eyes or know that you may have a bad reaction – don’t do it obviously.

Also don’t forget that  you can mix it with other products and use it on your body, too, not only on your face.

The staying power is amazing, it stays on for the whole day, doesn’t move or smudge.

I think it’s a brilliant multi-purpose product and I would love it in all the shades.

You can get it here for  £16.95 and I think the  price is not bad because it will last you for a long time and the quality is amazing.

I also have MUFE Flash Color in Black which I reviewed here if you are interested.

  1. What a beautiful shade! I’m not sure I’d be able to rock it on my cheeks because of the glitters, but it would look lovely on the lips.

  2. Hi,
I was just about to purchase this creme shadow as well.
I love the dark creme shadow from them but I was doubt to purchase it since I don’t know whether it’s creamy enough.
I recently purchased a creme shadow from the make up store and it’s very pretty 🙂

  3. THANK YOU for doing a blended out swatch. It’s how the product is meant to be worn, I don’t need to see a thick gob of the product.
