Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR in And On Bronze, Permanent Taupe And Eternal Bronze and Review and Swatches

I have finally picked up several shades of Maybelline’s Color Tattoo 24HR eye shadows some time ago so I am ready to share my opinion.

I was expecting  a lot from this product as everyone raves about the quality, and I was not disappointed.

I have got three shades to begin with:  Eternal Gold, Permanent Taupe, and And On Bronze.

They come in a glass jar and, in my opinion, the packaging looks great for the price, not worse than more expensive alternatives. As for the shades, the availability depends on the country. The shades that I have picked are all beautiful:

  • Eternal Gold is a  very shimmery gold, I’d say that the shimmer in this one is a bit too big for my taste.
  • On And On Bronze is a shade that a lot of people should like as it is very wearable metallic bronze. It should look amazing in summer.
  • Permanent Taupe, it is the most interesting shade in my opinion. It’s a matte greyish brown. Works great for a smoky eye. I wear it with mascara and a little bit of dark brown liner.

These look beautiful on the eyes, are long lasting and  don’t smudge and crease on me during the day. But you have to make sure that you blend them quickly!

I am definitely getting more shades as it is a great quality for the price.

I honestly can’t think of anything negative. Maybe the colours are not as complex as some luxury brand’s cream eye shadows but you just can’t beat the price. I would definitely recommend  Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR eye shadows.

Here are the swatches.

You can buy Maybelline from Feel UniqueBoots, and Ulta.

  1. On And On Bronze is very pretty! I was hesitant to pick these up because I thought they’d crease. It’s good to know they don’t. Thanks for the review.

  2. I’ve got a local blogger friend who found Eternal Gold and told me it’s different from Bold Gold (which she assumed would be the US equivalent). Now I’m seeing your swatches I’m darn sure it’s NOT the same shade! It’s weird how companies do this. I’m almost sure the On and On Bronze is not the same with Bad to the Bronze either, but I don’t own the taupe shade so I can’t comment on that.
