I’ve been thinking about this new feature something like “My Top Beauty Products From My Favourite Brands” for some time now and I thought five would be a good number…
I’d like to start with Illamasqua, as it is one of my favourite beauty brands, as you may know. And that is for many reasons that I have previously explained.
I won’t lie, it was very hard to pick up only five products as I own a lot of Illamasqua. But, after a lot of consideration, here they are!
Cream Blusher in Rude
This is the first product from the brand that I have tried and I still love it, the formula and the colour are great, I also really like the design. To read a full review and see it applied, click here.
Pure Pigment in Berber
Of course, this one had to be included, Berber is a stunning auburn shade with shimmer, it looks gorgeous on the eyes and is actually more wearable than you may think. See it also here.
Nail Varnish in Viridian
This nail varnish is my top three nail polishes that I own, it’s a perfect dark green/blue, spot on. Want to see it on the nails?
Precision Ink in Havoc
I have four (out of six) liquid liners from Illamasqua and Havoc is definitely my favourite. It is a beautiful aubergine that is not too black or too purple, plus it looks “glossy” on the eyes.
I have applied Berber very lightly so that you can see that it can be wearable if you are afraid of red on the eyes
Freak Perfume
I had to include the brand’s only, at this point, scent. It is uber sexy and sensual but not vulgar or suffocating, I find.
- Top Notes: Black Davana, Opium Flower and Belladonna bewitch the senses into uncontrollable lust and passion.
- Heart Notes: Poison Hemlock, Datura and Queen of the Night blossom, caress and kiss.
- Base Notes: Aromas of Frankincense, Oud and Myrrh, additively mesmerises and captures the senses

I just got introduced to Illamasqua products and now I don’t know how I ever lived without them! The cream pigment in “Hollow” is perfect for contouring and the cream blusher in ravish is so pretty! Thanks for this posting… super helpful.

Welcome to the Illamasqua world 🙂 If you love nail polish, try some of their colours, I think they are some of the best on the market, I have several shades and adore them all.
I will definitely have to seek out Rude cream blusher, it looks perfect for a light summer colour. I have so much Illamasqua makeup now!! It’s so good.
