No7 Spring 2011 Lipsticks in Grace and Brigitte. Review and Lip Swatches

Just when I  saw these new No7 lipsticks I knew that they would be mine, so I had to get both Grace and Brigitte.

This is how the package looks like, gorgeous, right?

The lipsticks feel great on the lips, they have a light formula which is perfect for Spring. They also stay on for a several hours for me and I don’t find them drying. Both colours are gorgeous, but if Grace is very easy to wear, Brigitte is definitely not for everyone.

Here are the swatches of Grace and Brigitte which I’ve compared to the similar lipsticks  from the same price tag which I had around.

So the lipsticks are Grace, Brigitte, Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 006 Pink Blush, Revlon Colorbust Lipstick in 020 Baby Pink, Rimmel  Moisture Renew Lipstick in 800 Pink Star and Revlon Matte Lipstick in 02 Pink Pout. I hope you find this helpful.

I took these swatches several weeks ago when we had lots of snow and it was really cold so my lips were not in the best condition. And you know, now I think this is even better as you can see how Brigitte looks like on chapped lips.

And can you see the effect you get from Grace? It is nice and smooth although you can  see some minor dry patches but don’t forget that this is a close up, no one would notice that in real life. As for Brigitte, it really enhances  it all.

I would recommend you getting Grace, as it is fantastic, as for Brigitte – get it if you can pull of pale pink with lilac undertone. But make sure that you exfoliated and moisturized your lips before. I would also recommend dabbing it with your finger after you’ve applied it to make it more wearable.

Each lipstick retails for £10.50 as  a part of the beautiful Spring collection. I also did a review of the eye shadows which you can check out here.
