SS17 New Eye Products: Trish McEvoy, YSL, MAC and Smith and Cult

This post was supposed to be a Valentine’s Day beauty gift guide but since I did not have time to prepare one in time, it will be about the eye products launches that caught my attention.

Trish McEvoy 24-Hour Eye Shadow & Liner,  $33 from Neiman Marcus  and Bergdorf Goodman.

“Creamy, pigment-rich, shimmering eye shadow pen glides smoothly onto lid or lash line for endless shading and eye defining options with maximum staying power.”

The shades are: Smokey Quartz (shown),  Topaz, Crystal Grey and  Rose Quartz

Smith & Cult B Line Wax Spastic Eye Pen Smith and Cult, $26 from Saks

I am excited to see Smith and Cult bringing out other makeup items besides their gorgeous nail polishes.

” Quick-dry, water resistant liner delivers a silky matte finish and stays in place all day without any smudging, flaking, feathering, or misbehaving. Ultra-fine felt-tip applicator + versatile formula.”

MAC Crème Shadow eyeshadow palette, £36 from Selfridges

“As part of a series of collaborations between MAC and three of makeup’s finest masters, the Glamorize Me: Crème Shadow eyeshadow palette is made with the help of artist Diane Kendal. Six cream pearlascent eye shadows, LE.”

YSL The Shock Mascara, $29 from Nordstrom and £23 from Harrods

And who doesn’t want a new YSL mascara? The newest offering is called The Shock.

“The Shock Mascara’s hourglass-shaped brush allows for more of the exclusive shock formula to grab hold of lashes. With brilliant, high intensity color, this long-wearing mascara will give you dramatic lashes that will not smudge.”

There are three shades to choose from: 1 Asphalt Black, 2 Underground Blue and 3 Rough Burgundy
