I am a huge fan of Max Factor’s Miracle Touch Creamy Blush, so I was very excited about the launch of their new blushers – Creme Puff. There are six shades and I was sent three of them (and a new mascara).
Let’s take a look.
These are multi-tonal blushes which, when the shades are mixed together, give you a gorgeous shade.
The colours that I have are:
- Lovely Pink, Use this shade for a hint of pink on fair skin
- Alluring Rose, A shade with hints of gold colour; beautiful on warmer or tanned skin
- Gorgeous Berries, Provides a good pop of colour so works really well on darker skin tones

And the swatches:
Today’s post is a bit different from what I usually post, but I just wanted to share.
Yesterday I’ve spent several hours going through my makeup and beauty products. And having more “OMG WHY DID I EVER BUY THIS?!” moments than I’d like to admit.
The thing is that I wanted to: a) organize things better, b) give away some stuff to my aunt; she asked, c) throw away products that have gone bad/I don’t need etc.
And here is what I’ve found. One of my favourite “blushers” from six or seven years ago. It is
Regular readers know that I love my blushes… And I would like to show you my favourite blush combination that I have been wearing non-stop recently. I adore my Amaryllis, but sometimes I just want something different.
This is when my berry/plummy/mauve blushes get some love. I am a fan of such shades for AW, as they look nice with my light skin and dark eyes and hair, they instantly brighten up the complexion and look nice with cool toned pinks and plums that I often wear on my lips.
I really like ArtDeco Cream Rouge For Cheeks and Lips in 17 Creamy Mauve (review), it is such a gorgeous shade but
A girl can never have too many blushers…
That’s probably the story of my life. I love a good blusher and, although I am a fan of high-end blushers, I have to admit that some high street brands offer very decent blushers, as well.
I am personally a big fan of Max Factor cream blushers, they are brilliant! I also want to try Revlon, plus Bourjois are bringing out cream blushers this year.
Speaking about affordable blushers, meet MeMeMe Cherub’s Blush Cheek & Lip Tint.
A cheap, it’s only £5.50, tint for lips and cheeks?! Yes, indeed!
It is a beautiful berry-ish red which works amazing for perking up the whole look, it instantly makes you look fresher and healthier, know what I mean?
Just make sure that you prep the skin! Especially the cheek area, as
I really want to try Tarte Cheek Stain. It is a water-based gel cheek tint; it is alcohol-free and oil free so it won’t dry out the skin or clog pores.
It is written that it contains “Skinvigorating™ ingredients like a T5 Super Fruit Complex™”(a blend of the five most active superfruits: goji, açaí, maracuja, acerola, and pomegranate) which is pure water to help skin retain moisture and mineral-derived pigments known for their soothing and softening properties.
It is formulated without: Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Petro-Chemicals and Phthalates.
Sounds great to me!
I like the shades Flush (sheer berry/ raspberry scented) and Blushing Bride (sheer deep plum/ plum scented). The idea that they are scented with the berry/fruit that has a similar colour makes me wanna get this blush even more.
By the way, BECCA’s Beach Tints have similar concept. But they are scented like the fruit/ berry they are named after.
I am not sure where to get Tarte in the UK/EU unfortunately. It is available at Sephora for $30.
