September 2015: My Current Top 5 Affordable Makeup Products
My friends ask me all the time about my favourite high-street makeup products, and I have realized that I haven’t posted a top 5 [affordable makeup products] feature in ages (See previous ones here and here)… So here we go!
Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Alluring Rose (review and cheek swatches)
If I had to choose only one product out of these – it’d be the blush. Regular readers know how many blushes I own, and the fact that I’ve barely touched any other in months says it all. Creme Puff Blushes are dreamy! Soft and creamy, they blend beautifully and look gorgeous on the skin. I am a convert, and I have recommended it to a lot of my girlfriends, too. There are six shades in the range and I have swatches of three (click the link above). I can’t recommend these enough!

March 2014: My Current Top 5 Affordable Makeup Products
I love my luxury beauty products! I perfectly understand, that is not a necessity but an indulgent, and also I get that not everyone wants to spend that much on a makeup product. In fact, I often get asked about the affordable products that I would recommend.
So I’ve decided to feature five products that I’ve been really loving lately. I could, of course, add more, but these are the best for me, now.

NYX Taupe Blush Review and Face Swatches. Rave
I’ve been wanting NYX Taupe Blush for ages, but bought it only this month. Mainly because it was almost always out of stock whenever I’ve planned to get one, so I almost forgot that I wanted it…
But it is finally mine, and I am so happy about it! Now, that I finally have it, I understand why is it so hyped up, it never leaves my makeup bag!
This is definitely the best sculpting product out of those that I have. It is matte and cool-toned so fits my skin perfectly.
I like the texture, it doesn’t feel too powdery and chalky and creates a natural looking shadow (the photo included). For the price, I can’t think of a better option.
By the way, here is a comparison with two popular &, I would even say cult, bronzers Benefit’s Hoola and Chanel’s Bronze Universel.
And here are the swatches on the skin: Benefit, NYX and
