August 2017 Beauty Favourites

Here we are again, talking about the monthly favourites!

Dove Nourishing Secrets Relaxing Ritual Shower Gel (Dove is available from Amazon and Amazon UK)

This shower product  with lavender and rosemary extract is pretty similar to L’Occitane Aromachologie Relaxing Shower Gel but just for a fraction of the price. It smells incredible, and does not feel drying on the skin. Being a huge lavender fan, I had to have it. Especially I loved using it during my holidays this month, very relaxing.

Nivea Intimo Wash Lotion Fresh

Had to get this mini while I was away on a holiday, as well, as I forgot mine, and it just reminded me how important a right gel for the intimate hygiene is. This Nivea one is gentle yet effective.

Jo Malone Colognes (You can buy Jo Malone from Selfridges,  Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.)

I am really into my Jo Malone colognes these days, especially the mini ones, they smell so incredible. I love mixing and matching them, too. I need new scents from the brand now.

ID Hair By The Sea Seawater Spray (as seen here)

Completely forgot to include this one the photo but I am still over the moon with this hair spray as it creates that “beachy effect” without  making the hair too crispy, just that spot-on messy effect.

Clarins Extra-Comfort Foundation (Review and Swatches)

I used to use this foundation a lot, and re-discovered my love for it recently.  It works great for dry skin, gives a glowy effect, and is amazing at perfecting the skin by giving you that medium-to-high coverage.

theBalm  Balm Desert  (buy from  ASOSFeel Unique and Sephora.(swatches)

My love for this bronzer/blush is still going strong. As I’ve already said,  it is not your typical bronzer, it has a reddish undertone to it which is great for adding colour to your face, and for gently sculpting it, too.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Shadow Play Natural Defining & Contouring Liquid (website)

While this is a new discovery, I am already a huge fan, it has a light texture and a very natural effect so it is hard to get overboard. But at the same time, you get that subtle nice definition. Review coming soon.

theBalm Batter Up Eye Shadow Stick in Moon Shot  (buy from  ASOSFeel Unique and Sephora.)

Creamy and long-lasting formula which just glides on, blends out easily and stays on for hours. I really like the Moon Shot shade, the perfect pale pink  for an every day look.
