Clarins Be Long Mascara Review. Rave

I was asked about the Clarins Be Long mascara so many times… This is why I am happy to share my opinion about it.

Lately I’ve been loving volumizing mascaras that give a real wow-effect, such as Chanel’s Le Volume de Chanel and Max Factor’s Excess Volume Extreme Impact , so I was a bit afraid that this one could be too subtle. But, luckily, you can get not only “natural looking lashes” with this mascara. You can achieve more dramatic results, too.

Clarins Be Long Mascara Review rave brushBe Long has a small rubbery bendy  brush which  makes the application very easy, you can also apply it to the bottom lashes, without getting the product everywhere. Plus you can get even the smallest and the shortest lashes with it. Win-win!

So what are the results? You get really long separated lashes! This mascara doesn’t get clumpy even with 3-4 layers, it only adds even more length with each one.  It is one of the best lengthening mascara I have ever tried, the only one that is as good, is the Dior’s one.

So if you don’t want too much volume, but prefer long and separated lashes – give this one a go! You can get a nice natural effect with one layer or build it up with more applications.

Did you know, that Clarins promise  that after 4 weeks  lashes should increase in length by an average of 1.1mm.  This is exactly what I need! I haven’t been using it for four weeks yet, it’s only my second week, but I am excited to see the results.

The price is £21/$26 and available from Selfridges,,  Nordstorm,  Sephora, Bergdorf Goodman.

PS.  I am sorry that this is yet another mascara review without the photos of it applied. I personally don’t like the reviews without the swatches but I haven’t mastered the art of taking good photo of my lashes with mascara on. They never give any justice to the product.

  1. I think this mascara looks really promising, thanks for the honest review. I especially want it because of the packaging hehe though… Would be awesome to not get clumpy lashes with that many layers of application!
