It’s time for the second part of my 2012 favourite beauty products, you can read the feature about hair care and perfumes here, and today it’s all about the face care!
If you are a regular reader you won’t be surprised to see the products I’ve chosen, as most of them are from my favourite skin care brands, as I try to stick with the things that work for me.
So here we go…
Cleansers
Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel
I have been using this product for around three years already and this is my third tube. The one that I use right now is a limited edition design. You can read why I love this product so much here.
Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel
I love gentle melting cleansers as they work great for my skin, leaving it clean without drying it out. Detailed review here.
Terre d’Oc Milky Make-up Remover Oil
I have tried only two products from the brand but they both were phenomenal. This cleanser is one of the best I have tried.
Serums
Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase
I am already using my second bottle of this serum, this is how much I love it. A must have for dry and dehydrated skin, especially in cold weather.
Apivita Natural Serum Radiance
This is probably my favourite Apivita product, and I have tried quite a few. It does exactly what is promised and does give radiance to the skin, will definitely get a new bottle in Spring.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Advanced Eye Treatment
My favourite Elemis eye product and one of the best eye products I have tried. I could definitely see the results.
Creams
AR 457 Well-Being Care DWLB
Although I have started using this cream only in the end of the year, I had to include this argan oil based cream in my favourites. I promise to write all the details about this cream, and some other products from the line, soon.
Clarins HydraQuench Cream with SPF 15
This is not a surprise for anyone, right? Find why here.
Extras
Aromatherapy Associates Revitalising Face Oil
This is still my favourite face oil, it does deliver!
Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Gel Mask
I can’t believe that I haven’t written about this one, will do soon then! This mask basically makes the skin brighter and smoother. As the result it looks “younger”.
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm
This cult product doesn’t need an introduction, I think. For me, it’s a must have!
Aromatherapy Associates Anti-Age Skincare Overnight Repair Mask
Award-winning mask that works while you sleep, great for dry skin.
Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm
I should have added this to cleansers, but forgot, so here it is. I had a chance to try a mini size of this and am definitely getting a regular one, so worth the investment.
In in 2013 I plan to try some new, for me, skincare brands but only after I finish everything that I have. I don’t like experimenting and mixing everything together when it come to my face.
I hope you liked this post and maybe discovered something you’d like to try, too. Stay tuned for my posts about makeup and body care.
Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel as a Summer cleanser, sound quite nice. 🙂
I love it during the winter even more!
I’ve been using Clarins Pure Melt for a few months and so far, I love it. I read both of your individual reviews on it as well as the one on Terre d’Oc Milky Make-up Remover Oil. Do you prefer one over the other?
Jillicious Cosmetics
Hi Jillian,
I can’t say that I prefer one or the other, I really like them both.
