I am actually surprised that I have so many favourites this month, as beauty wasn’t exactly my priority in January. But I truly loved all the products I am going to mention.
Makeup
Surprisingly, it was all about the brown tones for me this month. I always wear red or berry, but felt like a wanted a change and be rebellious with the nudes. This probably doesn’t even make sense to some of you, I know.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Sheer Lipstick- Succulence Of Dew in Perfume Of His Gaze – it is described as “sheer tanned nude-beige”, and I totally agree. Never thought that I’d be wearing something like this. But never say never. Plus, it’s only makeup, it is supposed to be fun.
I am sure that you are already bored to death with me talking about this Trish McEvoy’s bronzer, but this is literally the only product I have been using on my cheeks lately (this and NYX Taupe). And Hourglass No. 2 Foundation/Blush brush is my favourite tool for bronzer/blush/healthy glow & colour on my cheeks.
Speaking of Hourglass, their Visionaire Eye Shadows Duo in Gypsy was another favourite. Along with Inglot’s Eye Shadows AMC Shine 37 – I can never get enough of these two!
Finally, there is a mascara that I have been using so much that all the words on it on it completely rubbed off – Max Factor Mastepiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara. It gives amazing volume, ultra-black colour and instant wow-effect.
Skincare
I have been loving my REN set that I’ve bought some time ago, especially the V-Cense Revitalising Night Cream and Vita Mineral Omega 3 Serum, I have bought quite a few products from REN recently, so will probably write about them at some point soon.
Hair
L’Oreal Professionnel Volumetry Anti-Gravity Effect Volume Spray For Fine Hair. What a name? This is my second bottle of this product, as I’ve already said – it gives just the right amount of volume, without weighting the hair down or making it greasy or oily.
Leonor Greyl Serum De Soie Sublimateur – say hello to nice smelling, smooth and glossy hair. A little goes a long way, too.
Perfume
Clarins Eau Ressourçante, I really like this “re-balancing” fragrance from Clarins with the notes of Basil, Iris, Cedarwood and Sarsaparilla. It is exactly what I need right now, nothing overpowering or strong, just a nice and non-complicated scent. I only wish it stayed on my skin for a longer time.
Body Care
I have mentioned both products Old Spice Shower Gel in Champion and Garnier Oil Beauty Oil Infused Nourishing Lotion in a recent feature. Both smell really nice, are affordable and perform well! You can click the link to read all the details.
I enjoy your posts..I was wondering where you are able to purchase the Clarins fragrance? It has not been available in the US for over a year. I use my bottle sparingly since I can’t repurchase it. And the matching body cream is heavenly..I ran out of that last year and have never found anything as hydrating. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that your vendor is available for international delivery.
