June 2015 Beauty Favourites

I can’t believe that it’s July already! June was a very difficult and busy month, and I am very happy that it’s finally over!

I did not really have time or desire, to be honest, to experiment with makeup, but I did wear different lipsticks all the time. Since the drawer with my personal lip products is overflowing – I’ve made an effort to use them more often.

Makeup

Besides that, makeup-wise this month was all about the red nail polish. And my current favourite one is Max Factor Glossfinity  Nail Polish in 85 Cerise (here)It is  perfect long-lasting glossy orangey red. I promise to post the swatches soon, as I think everyone should pick up a bottle for summer.

Speaking of Max Factor, I am back to using their award-winning Masterpiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara (review)It is phenomenal, and I mean it – it gives show-stopping voluminous ultra-black lashes. Some of my girlfriends are now obsessed, too. And I will be buying a second tube soon.

I’m also back to using BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl (review). The lack of sleep, constant stress and non-stop work did not do my complexion any good. So, this is a God’s sent product to fake that glow and luminosity, still the best highlighter on the market.

I am not that into face powders, but Rouge Bunny Rouge Flawless Face Powder Precious Velvet (review) one is my favourite. It feels light on the skin, doesn’t enhance any dry patches, sets the makeup and makes it last longer even in the hot weather. By the way, the brand just released a new powder, Evanescence,  check it out here.

Skincare

Skincare wise, I wanted to keep it simple, so it was mainly about REN’s Evercalm range (Insta photo), which I’ve bought back in winter but somehow never mentioned. This is a “basic” and gentle range which works perfectly if you have sensitive skin and don’t want to overload it with tonnes of products.

Also, like in May, I have been really loving Ella Bache Tomato Vitamin Radiance Cream   makes the skin feel soft and smooth and look radiant and glowing. Review coming soon.

Body products and Perfume

It’s not a secret that I am obsessed with shimmering body oils, and lately I have been loving Clarins’ After Sun Shimmer Oil. I haven’t been really using it after sun but mostly to to give my skin a subtle tint and that beautiful shimmer. Otherwise my arms and legs look greenish/blueish which is not the sexiest look to rock 😉

Last, but not least my blackberry beauty products.  Yves Rocher Blackberry Silky Lotion (review)  – smells divine, absorbs quickly and leaves the skin hydrated and  moisturized.  Jo Malone’s Blackberry and Bay cologne  (review) is my scent of choice  recently, I  think it’s a great one for summer.

I am also loving my newest beauty and fashion related books.
