If you are a regular reader, you know that I have very dry skin and body moisturizer is a necessity for me!
Unfortunately, most of my favourite body products (Clarins Extra-Firming Body Cream and Elemis Pro-Collagen Body Cream, for example) are not cheap and since I use quite a lot of product on a daily basis, it can be a bit expensive to stock up on them.
So I’ve decided to find some affordable products that do work.
Here is the first product that I’ve decided to try – Nip+Fab Mango Smoothie Dry Skin Fix Body Butter.
I did not read any reviews before buying but I loved the idea of mango smoothie and the fact that it’s a “dry skin fix”.
Although it’s a butter, the consistency is not that thick and it I find that I am ready to get dressed just after I’ve applied the product, as it does absorb quickly.
I personally did not like the scent at all, I found it too artificial, plus I feel like such scent would fit a younger girl better.
I actually met my brother right after applying this cream recently and he complimented me on the scent. So I guess the “younger audience” thing could be true.
As for the moisturizing properties, I think it would be a nice product for the girls with normal skin, as I personally like re-applying (if I can, of course) during the day.
I’ve got mine for £8.50. Here is the list of the ingredients:
I have very dry skin, so I don’t think this would be moisturizing enough for me. And the scent sounds quite offputting too.
Maybe other scent they have are better. My brother loves it, so I bet some people do, too.
I need moisturizers too and I want to try this one but I would like to ask if it is greasy or not? Mine is not too dry so I guess this would be suitable for me.
Hi Elizabeth, I personally don’f find it to be greasy. But I’ve noticed that sometimes other people do find the textures I don’t to be, as they don’t have such a dry skin, as I do.
