November 2016 Beauty Favourites

First of all, how is it December already? I mean how is it the last month of 2016?! Are you excited for 2017? I know I am!

When I have gathered the beauty favourites to take a photo, I have realised that most of them are the same products I’ve featured in October so here are only the ones which I haven’t.

Before we start, I would like to mention some other things  I really loved in November which are beauty related, too.

Book – Branded Beauty by Mark Tungate (from Amazon and Amazon UK). I think everyone who is interested in beauty and brands should read it, the book is packed with interesting facts and quotes.  I personally really enjoyed the history of so many companies and the explanation about the marketing tips and tricks.

Mr. Selfridge TV Series.  (Amazon and Amazon UK). I’ve had this on my to-watch list for a long time already but gave it a go only last weekend, and it is great. I love how it shows the pre -WWI history of the legendary Selfridges.  Imagine that it was unthinkable to sell beauty products over the counter back in the days for obvious reasons, it is very well shown in Season 1 Episode 3.

Sparkles. I have to admit, I just have to have anything sparkling these days to brighten up the grey and dark November days, which feel like forever nights actually.

I also simply  have to include NUXE Reve de Miel Baume Levres Ultra-Nourrissant Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm (review) which is not on the photo because I couldn’t find mine. It literally saved my lips this month. I was raving so much about it that two of my girlfriends got it for themselves, too.

The other products are:

The Scottish Fine Soaps Tangled Rose Body Butter

I have used up so many body creams and butters recently so had to buy some replacements, including this one which smells absolutely incredible, has a nice texture which is not too tick but not too runny, and leaves the skin softer and smoother.  I love Scottish Fine Soaps products so will be buying more of their body creams in the future.

Garnier Body Bodyrepair Anti-Dryness Restoring Moisturiser Extra Dry Skin (review)

This is my favourite budget facial moisturiser, in fact, it works better for me than some very expensive ones. This is actually my third tube.  I am sure if they had a more luxurious packaging they could easily sell it as one of those fancy creams. The texture is thicker than most creams I have but I don’t find it to be greasy or oily,  it is like magic for my very dry skin. And that camelia scent…

Clarins Energy Booster (review)

Anything products that can add radiance and glow are my best friends these days! And this little gem from Clarins definitely works, I use several drops in my usual moisturizer, and can tell the difference it makes.

Mitchum Advanced Control 48HR Powder Fresh deodorant

I am probably the only person who still uses deodorants with Aluminium, and I should really do my research, and  find a more natural alternative but I have been loving this Mitchum deodorant very much during this year, as it smells incredible (at least for my taste), and  works great.

Lactacyd Femina Daily Wash

I have been using Lactacyd for years before I have started experimenting with other products, I especially loved this one, but it was great to have a new bottle of this product, I find it to be gentle but effective, no wonder I have used up so many over the years. You can get yours from Amazon.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Long-lasting Duo Cream Eye shadows in 097 Birdwing Beauteos

As I’ve already mentioned, I am still using/loving the same products as in October, and this is the only new makeup product that I want to add (I also adore my Dior lipstick but it was discontinued so no point in mentioning it).

But I do have to mention this new ridiculously gorgeous eye shadow duo from Rouge Bunny Rouge. I have already reviewed the other shade but this one is out just in time for the holidays so it is all about the shimmer! Champagne gold and silvery blue-black (the brand also suggests mixing two shades to get a silver one), they have a metallic finish and some individual micro-glitter particles, I am in sparkling heaven. And the shadows stay on during the whole working day, too.
