I have already posted a preview of the HOURGLASS Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick, and here are new products that are coming from the brand for AW16/17.
First of all, there is a new palette Ambient Lighting Powder – Surreal Light ($80) which will be a LE for Holiday (out if you are Sephora’s VIB).
The shades are:
- Ambient Lighting Powder – Surreal Light
- Ambient Lighting Bronzer – Surreal Bronze Light
- Ambient Lighting Blush – Surreal Glow
- Ambient Lighting Blush – Surreal Effect
- Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder – Surreal Strobe Light
And all of them are new and exclusive to this palette.
There are also two new products for the eyes which are already available, unlike the palette. And they are:
Here is a preview of Givenchy’s Autumn/Winter 2013 makeup collection – Soir D’Exception.
And here is what Nicolas Degennes, Artistic Director, says about the release:
“As in the poet’s song, a spark and a loving word are all you need to light the fire. And all doubts disappear since I know that the sparkle of a candle’s flame, so special, comes from millions of nano diamonds produced by its combustion. And moreover, isn’t lux the unit of measurement for light? When night falls, let’s go for the exception! …Because it is beautiful.”
Ecrin de Soir Palette, £46
I’ve picked up one colour just to try out and see my impression, although I was tempted to get a lot of different shades. I’ve got the shade called Dark Brown which looked like the colour I would love and use a lot.
I was really impressed with the pigmentation of this particular pencil, as it is so intense and the shade is buildable. The formula is nice as well, it glides on smoothly and is easy to blend.
I am also so happy about the colour that I’ve chosen as Dark Brown is the exact shade that I love using for my daily makeup look. I just use this Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil on my lid and on the bottom lash line and blend it with my No7 Smokey Eyeliner Brush and MAC 217, add some mascara and I am ready to go.
This is is how the colour looks like with the flash
Lancome is the first high end brand that I bought! 🙂 Their products are still among my favorite. Today I would like to tell you about my HG product – their crayon khol. Words cannot describe how much I love it! It is just perfect.
Here are some reasons why you should try it:
- It has a perfect creamy formula and it is very easy to apply it, such a pleasure.
- It stays on all day long withough smudging and fading. This khol is very pigmented.
- It is great for sensitive eyes and for waterline.
