If you are a long-time reader, you probably know that I am die-hard fan of Daniel Sandler’s Watercolour Blush (these two are my favourite), so I was excited to receive his newest product a while ago – Radiant Glow Illuminating Face Powder. I love the fact that Daniel does not release 100 new products every year but when he does you can be sure that it is high quality and reasonably priced.
The newest face powder comes in a signature gold and black packaging, and the product itself consists of four shades which can be used individually or mixed together.
The shades, as described by the brand are: a bright high shimmer gold, a rich shimmery peach, a beautiful creamy white and a pale peach with a gorgeous sheen.
Below you can see how each shade looks when applied, and also how they look when
I was sent several bagsy products, and I have already reviewed the lipsticks they have in the line, and today I want to tell you about the blush, which is probably my favourite item from those that I’ve tried.
And here is why…
It comes in the cutest packaging, and with an inspirational quote inside. The product itself is very easy to use thanks for the domed shape which can be applied even on the go, and be blended out with fingers.
As for the texture, it is soft and velvety, I’d say it is cream-to-powder, the kind of formula most people prefer. It is not too creamy but, at the
I was browsing Makeup4all the other day, and stumbled across this post from 2010. The point was to choose only three products I could use for my makeup. I was actually surprised by my choices, so thought I would do the same thing six years later.
So here is what I would go for and why:
I just have to have some kind of definition for my eyes, black liquid eye liner or a brown eye pencil, or even some eye shadows. But if I could use only one product- that would be this. These days I am loving ArtDeco, but there are lots of other nice ones I like.
Mascara ( Max Factor Voluptuous False Lash Effect Mascara, review coming later)
Regular readers know that I am a big fan of Daniel Sandler blushers, they are so unique with that one-of-a-kind liquid formula. I have written so many times about them, and here is a link to a very detailed review with the tips from Daniel himself. I also wrote about the cream formula, too.
I like that Daniel doesn’t bring out tonnes of products but when he does – they are awesome. This month he added two new shades of the liquid Watercolours and one cream version to his line, and they all are dreamy.
You can choose from Rose Glow ( a pastel pink-peach shimmer) and Golden Glow (warm bronze shimmer); the cream shade is Soft Bronze (a delicate pink-peach hybrid with a twist of a bronze). And they are honestly my favourite shades from Daniel so far, and I have quite a collection at this point.
All three shades give that healthy glowing effect which
I’ve wanted theBalm luminizers for as long as I remember (and by that I mean since they came out). I have swatched them several times at the counter but couldn’t make up my mind on which one to get, and I could not justify getting all three considering how many products I already have.
This is why when I saw The Manizers palette – I simply had to get it. This is a limited edition, as far as I know, so get it while you can. Yes, the single powders come in that gorgeous packaging but this cardboard one is perfectly fine. It is sturdy and slim.
So what is so special about these powders?
First of all the texture, it is very smooth, soft and buttery, almost creamy, it melts into the skin. The pigmentation is also brilliant, you only need one swipe. It is no wonder these babies are so loved by all the beauty enthusiasts.
Let’s take a closer look:
This is a gorgeous warm-toned golden highlighter. And it is not subtle by any means, it gives you a proper glow, instantly brightens and perks up the complexion. Use it on top of the cheek bones, upper lip and under the brow bone. It may be too intense for some people for a day time but if you love you some luminosity – it is perfection.
