Clarins Cleansers Round Up

The other day I was  going through my drafts for Makeup4all, and I was shocked that some of them are from 2009…And the one that caught my attention was this round-up of Clarins cleansers (you can read more details by clicking the “review” links).

Back in 2014 I have posted part I of toners suitable for my skin type (dry and sensitive), and promised to share about the cleansers. So it is better late than never, right?

Clarins French Skincare Cleansers Review Makeup4all

Here we go:

 Pure Melt Cleansing Gel (review)

This is probably my favourite cleanser from Clarins, it smalls amazing, works great for  massaging the face and turns into milk after you mix it with water.

Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel (review)

The most affordable one from the brand. It is a good basic, and would be a great choice for teenagers and girls in their twenties.

One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser (review)

I am not the biggest fan of scrubs as I prefer acid peels but this one is pretty cool, not too harsh but still effective.

Extra-Comfort Cleansing Cream for Dry and Sensitive Skin (review)

This one is not available anymore, it was replaced by  Extra-Comfort Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream which comes  in a tube form.

Gentle Beauty Soap  (review)

Unfortunately, this soap is no longer available either…

After browsing the Clarins cleansers section, I have realised that there are three other options that are suitable for dry or/and sensitive skin are:

  • Gentle Peeling Smooth Away Cream,
  • Gentle Foaming cleanser for dry or sensitive skin
  • Cleansing Milk With Alpine Herbs

I do have the first two, so expect reviews, and maybe will buy the cleansing milk.  Not sure about it yet, as I am not very into cleansing milks.

Clarins is available from Escentual.com,  Nordstorm,  Sephora, Bergdorf GoodmanSelfridges,Harrods

Disclaimer:  Extra-Comfort Cleansing Cream for Dry and Sensitive Skin was a  PR sample, everything else purchased by me. This is not a sponsored post.
