Hourglass Cosmetics Fall 2011 Makeup Collection

Here is the final information about the Hourglass Fall 2011 makeup collection! I first mentioned the new products here and already wrote about the new eye liner Script and posted a preview of the Vol. 6 eye palette.

So here is more information about the Lash  Laquer and  the VOl. 6  palette.

This information is about the US launch, in the UK the product will be available  in the Fall (at Liberty).

Film Noir Lash Laquer – it’s an ultra-glossy, inky black top coat for lashes that creates length, volume and shine.

This will be available exclusively at Sephora starting next week and will retail for $28

As it is such a unique product and I can’t imagine how it would look like on the lashes, so here is a part of the press release.

Application tips by Hourglass Artistic Director Gina Brooke:

This is a truly unique product that creates darker lashes with a beautiful shine. First apply Film Noir Mascara—Lash Lacquer works best when the lashes are already coated with mascara. But avoid using it with thickening, tubing or otherwise heavy mascaras. Before applying, swipe any excess back in the tube.

Hold the Lash Lacquer wand at a horizontal angle to your eyes and delicately paint lashes with the brush in short strokes. For a natural look, focus solely on the tips of the outer corners, or just on the upper perimeter of the inner eye, which helps to create the illusion of a thicker lash line.

For more intense drama, sweep product from the base to the tips, moving all the way along the lash line. Avoid the inner rim of the eye. And for maximum coverage, add an extra coat of product, and apply to the lower lashes, too.

VOL. 6 EYE PALETTE

This will be available in August, exclusively to to Barneys New York and will retail for $58.

Now this palette is gorgeous! Hourglass eye shadows are among my favourite – you can read my review here so I hope that this is not the last palette from the brand.
