YSL Creme de Blush in 4 Audacious Orange Review, Photos and Swatches. Rave

Finally I am going to review the gorgeous cream blush which is called Audacious Orange and which is a pure orange colour! It is a part of the YSL summer 2011 makeup collection.

I’ve already reviewed the brown eye shadow duo and the Volupte Sheer Candy Lip Balms.

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know that that I am a huge fan of cream blushes and I can never have too many of them.

So if I say that now this blush in my top five, trust me, it means a lot. A lot of people are fans of YSL Creme de Blush and I completely understand them.

I love the package, it is very chic and luxurious and is does look like a high end product.

The blush itself has a lovely light consistency which is not greasy or sticky at all. It is easy to apply and blend it into the skin. This product also smells nice, something floral if you ask me.

I know that some of you are probably scared of the blush which is called Audacious Orange and which looks so bright but there is no reason for that. It gives the most beautiful shade for summer, out of all my coral/orange/peach blushes I like this one the best right now.

So here is the swatch and the comparison with other blushes. The first one is ChaCha by Benefit and the other one is YSL.

Ok, I know that it looks a bit scary but only because I’ve packed the blush so that you can see the colour. As you can see, ChaCha has some red undertones compared to Audacious Orange.

Audacious Orange just screams summer to me; it’s a right-on-trend bright and vibrant shade!  It looks absolutely amazing on the sun kissed skin. But it also adds a beautiful warm shade if you are not so tanned. It brightens up my fair complexion.

Although it may look very bright in the pan, you can blend it out easily on your cheeks or if you want a more intense colour, you can build it up. This blush is a pleasure to use.

Illamsqua Cream Blusher in Rude, YSL Creme de Blush in N° 4 Audacious Orange, Benefit ChaCha Tint, BECCA Beach Tint in Apricot and BECCA Beach Tint in Grapefruit.

And here is how it looks like on me. As you can see, the colour is very flattering. By the way, on my lips I am wearing YSL Volupte Sheer Candy in # 2 Dewy Papaya.

To tell the truth, I can’t think of anything negative to say. Maybe only that it’s a limited edition.

For your  £28 you get 5.5 grams of product with the high quality and I think it’s worth the money and I would really recommend you taking a look at this blush before it’s sold out.

Buy it from Selfridges or SaksFifthAvenue.

  1. I have this too and I absolutely love it. The texture is divine and I think it has good staying power, plus it’s just so comfortable to wear a cream blush in the summer (which is a good thing since I don’t see myself wearing this shade in the dead of winter). It looks lovely on you!
