I enjoyed sharing about the things that I loved in Winter, and now it is July and I did not share about my Spring favourites yet.
I’ve actually been strict with myself and allowed only a few products [makeup, beauty, lifestyle] so these are truly creme de la creme, for me.
This is probably my favourite product of them all, and I promise to write about it in more details because, after all, why would you need an extra step in your skincare routine which is £65 on top of it all. But it truly transformed my skincare routine. Think of all those things beauty brands promise in their press releases. It is all that: healthy glow, hydrated skin which is soft and smooth. I think my skin loves the Hungarian thermal water and the urea. And did I mention the frosted luxurious bottle?
I’ve had a small bottle of this with one of my orders and did not expect to love it as much as I do. One of the best face oils I have ever used. Again, think of all those things we want our beauty products to do. Glowing complexion? Nourished and silky skin?
The first month of 2016 is already behind us. How does it feel? Was it a good one? Are you ready for the rest of 2016? Do you stick to your resolutions? 😉
It was a pretty good month beauty-wise for me, and here are the products I’ve been loving:
Nivea Nourishing Body Lotion For Very Dry Skin and a shower cream from this line. My Dad (!) actually got these two for me for Christmas, and I am really touched that he actually got the right products for my skin type. I usually take them with me when I go swimming but use them on a daily basis, too. I love how soft and smooth my skin feels afterwards, and how nice it smells. Considering how quickly I go through body creams and lotions it is nice to have something budget-friendly, as well.
Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne
I honestly don’t understand how could I miss the fact that Jo Malone discontinued Vanilla & Anise (and WHY would they do it?) so I am left with a half bottle only. At least I can still get this scent. Red Roses is definitely not for everyone, some of my friends laugh that I smell like a rose jam whenever I use it, and it may be a bit weird to smell like this when you wear a lot of black, leather, and red… but hey, life is supposed to be fun. I also have a candle which I adore as much as the cologne.
CND Solar Oil
I was getting gel manicure for about 6 months non-stop but once I was too busy to go to my manicurist who is absolutely amazing but works far away from my home (and work, too), and had to rush to the nearest salon as my nails were looking disgusting at that point. I can’t believe how
I have been promising a review of Balance Me Radiance Face Oil for quite some time now. So here is is finally…
*Spoiler alert* It is one of the best oils out there (I like as much as my REN), especially for the price, and I have actually used it up to the very last drop. No wonder that it is an award-winning material.
Speaking of the price, it retails for £30 for 30 ml which is a very good value for money, especially for the quality, it is half cheaper than some other oils that have a similar effect.
“Radiance” is a prefect name, as it really changes the way your complexion looks, it does add radiance and glow. The product does not leave an oily or greasy residue but instead softens the skin, and works perfectly under a moisturizer. I personally
I want to tell you about one of the best products I have ever put on my face – Algenist Advanced Anti-Aging Repairing Oil. It is so good the words cannot describe.
I was recently on a holiday in Greece and, although I did not really “bake” my skin under the sun, it was still dehydrated and “wrinkly”, it almost seemed like I had fine lines on my forehead.
For some reason all my favourite oils/serums/masks just couldn’t cope… And then I’ve realized that I had this, which I’ve bought as a part of a set from Sephora, so decided to give it a go.
And, wow! I was blown away by the results!
It feels very light on the skin, absolutely non-greasy, and no strong scent, too. You can instantly see and feel the difference. The skin looks
Why is it that you often want to have things that are hard to get? Or is it just me? After reading all those raves about Josie Maran’s Argan Oil and tarte’s Maracuja oil, I really wanted to get both. Finally the first one is mine, thanks to my friend from the US.
So is it that good, as they say it is?
In my opinion, it is! I have been using several drops, which is easy thanks to the pipette, of it every morning and evening for several weeks now and
