Unfortunately, I don’t have any news about the new BECCA blushers yet, but I do have an information about the brand new foundation.
By the way, I was told that there are quite a few exciting new launches from BECCA in the near future, can’t wait.
So the new products is Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme, 30 mL / 1.01 Fl. Oz., £34.
So what is it?
” Weightless crème, ultimate coverage. A uniquely high pigment concentration of 21% allows this formula to completely conceal fine lines, redness, hyperpigmentation and other imperfections. This lightweight, long-wearing foundation creates a second skin effect of
Clarins Extra-Comfort Foundation (£35 for 30 ml) comes in a glass jar which is very chic and luxurious to look at, but not very practical (especially when you are in a hurry) in so many ways. But that is the only thing that’s not my favourite in this foundation, everything else I adore.
“Anti-Ageing, Replenishes, Illuminates.” This is how the brand describes the product, and I would agree.
I have dry skin, and I love everything [yes, I do realize that I’ve already said that] about this foundation, it is so good! I don’t even know where to start…
The Illuminating claims? It delivers! I was sick at home for a week and this foundation instantly (yes, the name speaks for itself) transformed my skin from dull into a glowing and polished version (of course, with the help of the right skincare). Seriously, I was
Hourglass is a luxury and innovative beauty brand and today I want to tell you about their Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation, which is pretty genius.
First of all, I love the gorgeous silver design, very high-end. You get what you pay for, in my opinion.
But what about the foundation itself? Since I have very dry skin, I don’t use it on myself, but used it on quite a few people, including brides, so I am sharing mostly their impressions and the visible effects that I could see.
It gives a velvet matte finish but doesn’t look like a mask, although blush, highlighter and some contouring is a must – to give your face some structure aftrerwards.
It gives a medium-to-full coverage and
Givenchy are bringing out two new products for complexion for this Fall. An with all the BB/CC theme going on, it’s nice to see a “classic” foundation in a beautiful packaging.
The new products are Teint Couture Long-Wearing Fluid Foundation and Long-Wearing Compact. The face of the line is a gorgeous Mariacarla Boscono.
Teint Couture Long-Wearing Fluid Foundation £32 / €44.50
“An exceptional combination of long-wearing performance, a comfortable texture and a perfectly transparent result.” Nicolas Degennes, Artistic Director Givenchy.
What is promised?
- Active ingredients with a strong affinity for the skin’s surface provide “magnetic” adherence, becoming one with the contours of the face while remaining supple. Made-to-measure coverage and an ultra-light texture for long-lasting hold.
- Soft-focus agents visually refine the skin’s texture and conceal imperfections.
- A hydro-magnetic complex moisturises and rebalances the skin cells day after day, helping them withstand everyday stress factors. And, for added protection, an SPF20 sunscreen.
I really wanted to try the newest Rouge Bunny Rouge Time Defying Foundation Skin Sanctuary on a more mature skin, as well as on myself but, unfortunately, did not get a chance to do so yet.
But since I have promised a review to several people quite a long time ago, I thought I’d share anyway…
I’d say that this foundation gives a medium coverage and evens out the skin tone pretty well, without feeling heavy. I have tried several application methods and liked really working it into the skin with Sigma’s brushes the best. That way it really blends in and gives a natural looking effect, so that people don’t really see that you are wearing a foundation.
As for the finish, it is not dewy but not matte. It doesn’t make my skin glow, like some light reflective foundations, but at the same time doesn’t make the skin look flat and dull. It is probably the effect that most women desire for their every day look.
It is promised to work for all skin types and it does work for my very dry skin tone but I have to prep the skin properly. However, if you have normal skin – it should work really well for you! I’d assume the same for the girls with oily skin.
Skin Sanctuary (love this name a lot) should diminish the natural signs of aging that appear with mature skin and help to prevent and protect younger complexions.
- Detoxyl, a natural complex derived from Shea Butter, protects, detoxifies and calms, offering skin sanctuary from ravaging free radicals and urban pollutants.
- Ceramide III & IV – works to erase fine lines, deeply moisturises and monitors the skin’s dehydration process, rejuvenates the skin.
- Extracts of Karitè Butter Seed – nourishes and softens.
This time there are four shades available with one being suitable for deeper skin tone:
- BARLEY CREAM, Medium honeyed beige
- LINEN CREAM, Pale milky beige
- QUINOA CREAM, Pale pinkish beige
- WHEAT CREAM, Medium tawny beige
The price is €48.50 for 30 ml/ 1.01 fl oz
Although my personal love is Rouge Bunny Rouge’s Tinted Moisturiser Sketches on Water, this is a great foundation and will suit a lot of women.
