Favourite Beauty Products of 2013: Makeup. Part 2

I already did a post about my favourite bases and cheek products of 2013, so here is the second part which is all about the eyes, lips and nails.  To compare my list t0 2012 favourites click here.

So here we go…

Eyes

Favourite Beauty Products of 2013 Makeup for eyes makeup4allI will start with the eye brows, and my favorite and most-used product, hands down, was Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette (review). It is a must have for me now, easy to use, long-lasting and great shade.

As for the liners – it was super easy to choose: Rouge Bunny Rouge Raven Glaze Lacquer Liner (review), black and glossy liner is in my personal top favourites ever. When I am in the mood for the cat eye, this is the product I always use. Plus it’s so easy to control.

For an every day use, and I’m sure this is no surprise to you, I always use Lancome’s Le Crayon Khol in Brun Noir (review). I have so many eye pencils, but 99% of the time I use this one. It’s a perfect blackened brown which is very soft and easy to blend, dreamy.

When it comes to mascaras, I have two favourites, as well. One in a classic black shade, which is  Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in 10 Noir (review), easily one of the best mascaras I have ever tried, ultra black and mega volumizing. I have a small sample but am buying a full size.

I also want to mention a colourful mascara – Rouge Bunny Rouge Dramatic Lash Mascara Megaplumes in Oxblood Panache (review). It is an innovative shade which looks beautiful on the lashes, what you is is what you get.

And, of course, I have to mention Anastasia’s Genius Top Coat (review) which changed my beauty life.

There are so many  great eye shadows that I could mention but I’ve decided to be strict with myself and choose only three: matte, non-matte (shimnmer, satin, metallic, anything but just ONE) and cream, and here are the results.

My favourite matte has to be  Rouge Bunny Rouge When Birds Are Singing Long-Lasting Matt Eye Shadow in Blackpepper Jay (review) it is a gorgeous deep chocolate which is not chalky and works great as a one-colour-eye-makeup.

The shimmery one is Inglot Eye Shadows AMC Shine 37 (review). Yes, the same one as last year. But is is just so beautiful and I use it all the time.

Cream eye shadow – Benefit’s R.S.V. P. (review). This is a spot-on champagne shade, so many can be just plain wrong, too shimmery, too beige or too pink, this one is perfect, plus very long-lasting.

Lips

Favourite Beauty Products of 2013 Makeup lip products makeup4allI just love Clarins lip products, especially their balms and glosses, as you can see. I have mentioned  Clarins Natural Lip Perfector in 04 Petal Shimmer (review) and Clarins Gloss Prodige in 09 Water Lily (review) so many times that I won’t get into details yet again. But they are my Holy Grail products, for sure.

There is actually one more Clarins lip product – Joli Rouge Lipstick in 738 Royal Plum (review). It is a gorgeous plum shade that I have been wearing a lot. In fact, my friend got herself the same one, she loved it so much.

Besides Clarins, I am also a fan of Ellis Faas lip products, Ellis Faas Creamy Lips 101 (review) was probably my red shade of the year. The brand’s new Hot Lips L406 Rose Violet (review) are just phenomenal, the pigmentation and the staying power are something incredible.

I also want to mention Yves Saint Laurent Volupte Sheer Candy (review) especially the 04 Succulent Pomegranate and06 Luscious Cherry. Gorgeous glossy finishes than leave a rosy stain.

Of curse, Givenchy Le Rouge Lipstick (review) has a very special place in  my collection.

Nails

Favourite Beauty Products of 2013 Makeup nail polishes makeup4allIn 2012 I’ve decided to choose only two nail polishes, so I will do the same this time.

My favourite red – Revlon Red (swatch), for me it is the most perfect red I have ever seen on my nails.  I also love Ciate’s Paint Pot in Cookies & Cream(review) which was recommended by Lisa Eldridge, by the way.

I’ve also started using something different, not Seche Vite, Inglot’s Fast Drying Top Coat (review) and I plan to re-purchase actually.
