Makeup4all is 15: Retrospective of Features

If you follow me on Insta, you’ve already see it! Makeup4all turned 15 this week, and it’s a real pinch me moment. How mad is that? I thought it would be cool to look back at some features from over the years. So, here we are.

2024 Beauty Wish List – here

I did not write anything in 2023 (and barely anything in 2022) for various reasons, so instead of posts from that year let’s have a look at features I really loved putting together – eye gloss trend here and dystopian makeup here.

2022 Makeup4all Loves: Bade Anstalten Soaps – here.

2021 Lisa Eldridge Gloss Embrace in Charm here

2020 Rouge Bunny Rouge Velvet Whispers Full Colour Matt Lipsticks: Review and Swatches here. I wrote a lot about the brand, and this was one of my favourite articles to work on. All lipsticks were sent to me in PR.

2019 Makeup4all Recommends: Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift Concealer here. Probably the best under eye product.

2018 SOL DE JANEIRO Brazilian Bum Bum Cream Review here. Still a big fan of the brand!

2017 Daniel Sandler Watercolour Customisable Colour Set For Cheeks Review and Swatches here. These are some of the best blushes, a game changer. The shades below were received in PR.

2016 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Transylvania Review and Lip Swatches here. Nothing like a dark lip!

2015 favourites of the year (here). I used to be obsessed with almond shaped nails( here). Remember writing this post, as if it was yesterday. And, of course, a quote about red (here)

2014 Makeup Addict Tag here

2013: Ellis Faas Hot Lips Review and Swatches L406 and L408 (here) Top 5 products from Illamasqua (here) Jo Loves Mango collection (here). It was such a joy writing about all three brands!

2012 Fragrance Review: Molecule 01 by Escentric Molecules (here) Stila Tesoro (here), a lipstick I used to wear all the time. Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay (here) Illamasqua Generation Q (here). Illamasqua had the best collections and PR packaging. In my opinion, up to this date, it is still iconic! I was always looking forward to their releases and was their N1 fan! Inglot Red eye liner (here) Pan Am makeup looks (here) Blair Waldorf’s Wedding makeup (here)

2011 Illamasqua The Theatre Of The Nameless here Foot Creams Review: Elemis Treat Your Feet and L’Occitane Dry Skin Foot Cream (here) Omorovicza Gold Shimmer Oil (here) Japonesque Brushes review (here)

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl Review and Swatches here. BECCA was probably my favourite makeup brand, it is quite sad that it no longer exists. Bonne Mine palette here. I was so obsessed with getting my hands on this one, that had to ask my friend from California to get it for me.

2010 Alice in Wonderland The Book Of Shadows by Urban Decay. Review and Swatches here These were real collectable items. And, of course, I had to have all the Book of Shadows. In fact, I still hold onto them for some reason. Makeup ads that I like (here) Chanel Joues Contraste in Orchid Rose Review and Cheek Swatches here. NARS Orgasm blush (here) Levres Scintillantes Glossimer by Chanel (here) Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Rude (here). My Zuneta Order (here) Anyone remembers Zuneta?

2009 Second Skin foundation by Max Factor here Le Crayon Khol by Lancome here. And, of course, my magazine!

Thank you for reading all these years! If you have a favourite post, please share!

  1. Lots of great products. Personally, Ellis Faas is my favourite. Its design is something that let you stand out! Have you tried mixing it with other makeup products?
